SWG Exploits - Get a collection update and get paid for it! : Star Wars Galaxies Nerfed Info

For this "story" we'll use the rare sith holocron 4/5 Waistpack but it can be used with any Collection item, like the Rare Shattered Fragments....

So you just looted that rare Sith Holocron 4/5 WP?
And you need it on your Character for the collection?

So why not get the collection and some credits (Usually 99,999,999)?

Well here's how;

Find someone to buy the holo and tell them you'll offer it to their vendor (Must find someone who has a vendor) for 99,999,999 (usually worth alot more on all servers i've come across).

(Usually i'll tell them to buy it off their vendor within 30 minutes of the conversation or else it'll go to someone else, so you don't have to wait too long)

So go to their vendor and open your inventory and radial the holocron and click "Add to Collections" now the box should pop-up asking are you sure blah blah and you can press "Yes" or "No" KEEP THIS WINDOW OPEN DO NOT PRESS ANYTHING!!

Open you're targets vendor and offer the holocron to their vendor for the 99,999,999 (Can work with any price) and click offer so it's on the offer list and they can buy it.

Now when they buy it, it'll go into their inventory and you'll get the 99,999,999 credits.

Now remember that window you left open?
well click "Yes" and you'll get the collection reward update.

The item will disappear from the traders inventory (or where ever they put it) now this is where they can start to say "WTF where did it go??!?!?!"

But in this case i don't press "Yes" straight away i usually go about 1000m away from the place of where this "oppurtunity" happened.

And go afk for 10 minutes knowing the trader thinks he just got a sweet deal he might logout out or what not this doesn't matter this will still work.

Now when you think it's safe to make that item go POOF from their inventory (or where ever they put it) just hit "Yes" on that Window and BOOM you have the collection update.

The trader who thought they had it won't have it no more and you would of just got 99,999,999 and the collection for basically nothing maybe just a little patient waiting time.

I Haven't tested going off the planet where you offered it to, as i'm not sure if travelling to another place that will make the loading screen come up and make the YES and NO Window go away, so i'd suggest just sticking to a Vehicle.

Well did you use it carefully?

You need to let them buy it then wait a while so they don't get suspicious but don't wait near them.

I tried this using my trader and my jedi and I can confirm that it works. HOWEVER, you have to be a REAL JACKASS to use it on someone else. Ah, but I suppose morals are secondary to fake money in a video game. Use it if you want.

There's a difference between using game mechanics to get the upper hand and being a thief. You, sir, are the latter.

This is an Exploit/Guides/Tips/Tricks site if you don't like it then don't do it, simple as that, we don't need opinions on other peoples Morals about what they do in a video game.

I tired this about a week ago with a friend. Didn't work so I'm going to say this is nerfed
