Took a little time to get everything just right, but this works nicely. Finished my fishing collections with it. :)

Having the same issue as other posters... Everything's set up correctly, session goes fine, fish is caught, then before it can be reeled in the script runs me forward and back and starts fishing again.

Can anyone who's used this successfully offer some advice? What tweaks if any did you do to the script or your own options?

I see that a few players are having trouble with your toon running back before you reel in your catch. i had the same problem and this is how i did the work around. the problem is that when the script is doing the pixel check, the color isnt matching. this is due to that you might have glare on in your options window, also turn off your rotation to your items in your inventory. what happens is that when you run up to your fish the color from the water changes the color just slighly enough in your inventory window that its shows you have caught something, cause the color changed. also add a few seconds for the check due to lag. I hope this helps. in 2 weeks i did 8 toons collection and over 2 packs full of tank parts. good luck

How the hell do you bind a macro to your g key?

go to Options - keymap and open the "custom" tab in there.

All your macros are listed there and you can rebind a key for each macro.

I have set up everything according to your instructions and picture. it goes through the set portion just fine. after starting, it casts, then unequips the fishing pole, and continues to move the cursor as if it is looking for something. it completes the cycle, equips the fishing pole hits the macro to fish, dequipts the fishing pole, and runs again. it is stuck in this horable loop of not having the fishing pole equipted, and does not fix itself. what is up?

Fishing - update 24/03/2011

If your effort results in a catch, you now have 2 minutes to radial the bobber to retrieve the catch. You cannot use the /target slash command to target the bobber.

I never used this but can some one explain what it used to do but no longer does? I might have a try at fixing it.

Otherwise it will be moved to the nerfed section.

Not sure, I'm looking at it right now as well... try to see if there's a new way to target the bobber.

Looks like what needs to happen is similar to the older WoW fish bots - simply just pixel scan for the red bobber, mouse over it, radial then 3 to catch.

That's the only change really, I think.
