Simple really.

Requirements:
Lv 60 Priest or Mystic
New Character

Have the lv 60 let you engage a BAM. Then heal you (even if you are at full health). This will make the BAM aggro the lv 60. Now, the lv 60 just heals you periodically.

You kill the BAM and get all the exp.

I was doing this for a friend. He was level 21, killing lv 38 BAMs and getting 500k exp. This is much better than questing... Yes, it took like 25-30 mins. But, at 21, you cant get 500k for 30 mins of questing...

Wt..why is this awesome? Powerleveling is a common thing in every game.. lol. And 30min for one mob and as he says 30 Min questing is the same amount of exp + Gold + Equipment. Id stay with questing.

At 21, please tell me the where you can quest to get 500k in 30 mins. My friend hit 60 in 4 days with me helping him.

Now my Archer is at 58 in 4 days with him healing me. Killing BAMs alllllll day nets you the same amount of gold+gear+wayyyyy more exp.

Gold gained on my archer in 4 days = 8500. My bank is full of gear for alts and guildies. We are going to be doing this again for his next alt and mine as well.

But yeah, have fun with your theory.

I have 5 level 60s now. Mystic, Archer, Zerker, Lancer, Slayer. All excpet the Mystic, done with this technique. Also, have 85k gold, around 60k gained this way.

All I can say is it seems as though it is going nowhere till around 35. Then the exp gained from BAMs solo is just amazing!

can you tell me which zone and which BAM's you are killing? And at what level you are actually starting.

I tried this, and while it is doable, the 38 bams take a long time to kill id say over 30mins more like 45. Tried doing this from 13 on basillisks and that is totally not worth it as stated bams 35+ give alot more xp.But it is painfull for classes like lancer and even low lvl warr/sorc.

Tried, 31 sorc on 49 Elites on serpentis Isle, sorcs firebalst does 100dmg..proving this strategy is NOT viable. Either this post is !@#$%^* to gain rep or you will provide a list of bams to farm. At the moment the only thing being exploited in this post is the nativity of the members to this forum.

Dont waste my time in the future, will not be resubbing for this kind of timewasting crap.

Any class with a DoT should have a fairly easy time with this under the right conditions, DoT ignores armor (or so it seems) and may bypass some degree of player:mob level correlation. (Lower levels naturally hit higher levels softer)


Also it may be more viable if you aren't doing stuff that's a million levels above you, should still be (somewhat) respectable EXP.


Purely speculation, I've never tried this.

it DOESNT work, dont know how many times i have to tell ppl. a lvl 20 dpsing a lvl 38 now does about.. 1/15th of normal dmg.. doesnt work. dont know if it ever did.
