Can't sign up : Legacy General & Troubleshooting

I tried to purchase VGExtreme. Went to their Download link, it ends up asking me to sign up for tault for $3.95 per month (where is $24.95 for the VGExtreme?!). Somewhere along the line $3.95 turns into 14.95. I try to make the payment. I try to pay with a credit card but it says that my credit card is on file with paypal and I have to pay with paypal. I login into paypal through tault, and it and it now asks me to add a credit card to my paypal acc to complete the payment. I add the card, and it now tells me: "This credit card is already registered in your PayPal account. Use "Update" button if you want to update existing credit card information."
And there is no "Update" button, just "Add" and "Cancel".
I sent 2 emayls to Register to unlock hidden link asking for help--no response. I posted on VGExtreme forunms--same thing.
So what do I have to do here to purchase VGExtreme?

log into paypal through Register to unlock hidden link
under My Account go to Profile then Add or Edit Credit Card.
fix your CC and buy your premium.

i think the 24.95 a year got removed because people wanted a cheaper monthly option but im not positive on this.
