Everquest and Xunleashed : Legacy General & Troubleshooting

I recently purchased your fine product to be used with Everquest. I'm really just interested in general macroing to get some skills up to the proper level. I would like to know if this works with Everquest as I"m having a problem.

It would appear that I have everything configured correctly. The program starts EQ and while I"m at the log in screen I've got a red dot and I can see the toolbar. However once I get into the toon selection screen I no longer have the red dot and unable to see the toolbar. The same holds true when I'm all the way in game. Is this a known issue, does a work around exist? Any help at all would be greatly appreciated.
