Patch program not working : General & Trouble Shooting

When I run XUnleashedTest, it starts to download DX8test.exe then stops. So it can find the patch server, it does connect to it, but stops after connected for 5 seconds. After about 10-15 minutes it declares there is a an error 12002. I have turned off the fireware. Any ideas what else to try?

Hmm what explorer are you using? IE firefox aol?

You try rebooting or download xunleashedtest again then running it again?

Same results. Download xunleashed. Put it in c:\xunleashed. Ran it. It starts to download DX8test.exe, then stops at 190KB out of 252KB. (the 190KB is more or less random as to where is stops)

hum so the only support so far is to reboot and try again. Is there another way to get the files then through the patch program?

Sounds like you have a downloader program installed. Remove it.
