Subscription ran out, why is PayPal requesting payment? : Legacy General & Troubleshooting

Hi,

My subscription ran out on 3/1 and I was going to re-subscribe, but now am not sure. I received an email from PayPal stating the following:

"Your subscription payment to XUnleashed.COM for Premium Membership Subscription failed on Feb 28, 2006 because of problems with XUnleashed.COM's account.

We will try to make this subscription payment again on Mar 3, 2006."

What the heck is this? I did not submiit a payment to XUnleashed. Why is PayPal going to try to make a subsciption payment without my consent? No where is it stated on the site that after the subscription runs out, XUnleashed will try to get payments automatically without my consent!

Please explain this.

yes it does say that. if you got a membership before the TU merger you got an auto subscription for XU unless you go and unsubscribe in paypal. there is no longer a subscription unless you subscribed before the merger
