VG Exploits - Easy Level 16 Armor : Vanguard Nerfed Info

1) Go to Veenax Garrion on the contient of Kojan
2) Find Leski Wapput (Medium Armor Vendor)
3) Look for the Quilted Leather Vest
4) It is bugged and only 62 copper
5) Normal armor should be 10+ Silver
6) Stock up on this because after its nerfed you can resell it easily for a profit.

are you sure it will sell for the right price? i dont want to lose like 50 silver if i stock up a ton.

ok so after looking into this, i learned a couple things.

first off, if you're not orc/goblin/etc, don't try to go there, you'll be killed automatically.

second, the easiest way to do this is to create a goblin and run south from the starting area to veenax garrison. it doesn't take more than 2 minutes and you shouldn't die.

next, i learned it's possible send money from your main char if he's of the opposite faction (this works nice since you would normally be killed by the NPC's) to the goblin to buy the armor for ya. mailing the armor back is relatively expensive compared to the cost of actually buying it (about 40c to mail it, whereas it's 60 to buy from the vendor) so i suggest just holding on to it til you can sell it for more.

also, i experienced a little bit of a rollback dupe while experimenting with this exploit, i don't think it's related to this exploit except for the constant switching characters involved. i think the server just rolled back (not crash or shut down) while i was switching and sending money back and forth. so i conclude that if you can send money to another char right before a rollback, it'll dupe. just like many other games.

this has now been fixed with the latest patch, the vendor now sells the armor for the correct amount. also, each armor you sell back to the vendor goes for 8s75c.

a lot of the npcs, infact almost all of them, have armor prices off. seems some of them are still the wrong price.

Do you HAVE to sell the armor peice back to the SAME vendor? i mailed some armor to a mule, do i have to bring it back to the place i bought it, or should any vendor work? I ask this because it still costs the few copper and not the 8+ silver.

you can sell it to any vendor.

do you know of any other places where the prices are still lower than what they should be?

also as a warning, they've suspended a lot of level 1 chars with over 5 gold just on suspicion, you have to explain yourself to get your account back... just saw it on the station forums.

Would be nice to know of any other vendors with borked prices. This one here netted me about 12 gold for a 2 gold investment:) Wasn't sure when they fixed I would be able to re-sell for the corrected amount, but it worked out this time.

I've got 17 gold outcome from the one im doing... just gotta wait for the patch. gonna try and get it on another char tomorrow.
