In the Swamps of Rumug (-29, 22) SW of New Targ there is a Elf Camp

At the camp you can talk to "Alyan Doridan", who will give you the option of two quests, take the "When in Gorgaluk: Trust" quest to open up the other quest NPC's around you. You do not have to complete this quest.

To your left there is a NPC "Lianadan Viafhran" who has a quest called "Ceti Spore Pearls". Take this quest.

The quest requires you to collect only 1 Ceti Pearl, however, these pearls stack to 25+ (not sure max, doesnt matter really). The way you get the pearls is you have to kill "Infected" mobs in the swamp. The infected mobs have a CHANCE to spawn a Ceti Spawn (Looks like a worm) and a Ceti Spawn has a CHANCE to drop a Ceti Pearl.

What's the drop rate like? that sounds kinda iffy...

On average a person get between 6-10 pearls an hour (alot more if Duo), since they stack you can go back to the NPC and keep turning in the quest. The quest is available at 46, and rewards 214,000 XP at 48 (My lvl).

Where is the best place to find these mobs you ask?

There is a camp of Infected Night-Elfs (no faction hit) that not only are for the quest but drop 1s each on average.

Why would i want to do this?

For people who cant or dont always spent alot of time in dungeon, this allows for very easy XP solo, resulting in the same if not ALOT more XP then grouping.

I can conferm this but you have to be lvl 45 to get the quest.

I heard there is a circut in which you can PL a player that includes about 7 named mobs, these mobs will repop just in time after you kill the last one. So far lots of people have been hush hush about it. I know it is in gorgalog or the swamps of rumug area, can some one confirm this?

be careful using dup bug and this, GMs are watching this quest due to the high xp and it being repeatable with one pearl and exploit

That circle of named mobs you are talking about exists, the only thing that sucks is I was and key word is was on Itch faction. The island between the 2 ravines is the spot, the named can pop anywhere in 4 spots or all 4 at once. If you keep the island clear which we easily did with 4 its the most non-exploited xp in the game. Hearts are 2-3% xp per turn in and you get attenae's too.



The only problem was the hearts stack to 5 and attenaes to 10. I was 48 and 15% at 8pm last night and by 11 I was 50+ without having to do any duping or cheesy !@#$%^*.



To fix the faction you can do wo's, but ill explain that in another thread =)

Does this quest still wrok? I just dinged 46. Went to encampment and the only quests I can get from Lianadan Viafhran are to kill treants.

You can only have one ceti pearl in your inventory now unfortunately.
