I guess the best way would be to vary the variable and see which ones vary in your search, but I don't think you'l escape some inevitable trial&error ;P

Your right stigma, i tryed before on other games, if you just change random values based on your health, most likely you get the wrong one and crash the game.

no you wont crash the game if you edit the wrong one. there are about 12 addresses that show your hp (current/max) but only one is editable to edit what you show on screen. all the others do nothing from what i have seen

aye i found the one that changed the health displayed. However it didn't do anything for me, still only had 662 health with my lvl 7 char.

ofcourse, your hp is server side

On the original topic of speed hacks, I have noticed that one of the vanguard DLLs exports a function called "checkforspeedhack" or similar.

So... be careful out there.

speed hacking is the fastest travel and the fastest way to get banned IMO.

SpeedTreeRT.dll is the dll i think you are thinking of. only dll with speed in the name

sooner or later, chances are sooner, they will begin bans for it. they are currently not actively looking for it because of the mass bugs in the game but once a lot of those are fixed you can bet on them beginning those bans

How's the hunter bot coming?

I used to use Actool back in the day but I was never very good at it. I do look forward to a hunter bot for VG though.

My brother got banned yesterday for using the Cheat Engine speed hack.. shame especially since he had a 32 character already

If you're gonna modify the speed don't be a fool and put it at something like 5-10, go with 2,5 max. All my guildies have it at 2,2 and none got banned so far...

Could anyone explain how to get this speed hack to work, I'm a total noob on this. Downloaded Cheat Engine 5.3, tried tutorial but even that I can't do. What do u have to do first ? Select Vanguard.exe as program ? Then what ? Tried inputting the values and start scan but it never finds any adress. Could anyone please explain step by step how to do this cuz i can't figger it out myself after 2 hours of messing around.
