hmm well psi have dots too and dd, ill keep trying

is it the same spell as your casting or has to be a diff one? i tried hitting my DD then clicking my insta nukes real fast but nothin

well i wrote that the spell should have a casting time... if you use an instant spell you will just break the chain

again, begin and keep hitting the spell again at around 90% of the casting time

i heard abot this and tried it on psi dot's, necro dots, and druid or shammy dot (don't remember which class of the druid/shammy though-all classess around level 20 with whatever dot's they had). While you "can" glitch the visual bolt, and even delay it's hitting so that it looks like you're hitting multiple times, the overall effect is only 1 extra pulse of the dot's damage. It actually works the same way as casting the same dot twice ona mob where it hits once for x damage, then you recast before it hits a second time applying the new dot damage which takes over from there, and finishes the timer out on the new one instead of the old one.

Now, IF it stacked so that you'd have the effects of 2-4 of the same dot hitting, that would be something, but you don't, so I vote nay on this one, it's just a waste of mana to spam cast the spell 3-4 times trying to get 1 extra pulse of the dot to hit.

Does anyone know if a nuke spell done this way will create the damage effect 2 or more times without going through the cooldown timer? That would be nice...
