Possible Invincibility : Vanguard Premium Discussions

Okay well, this has happened to me once but i have not tried to see if i could get it to work again. Back closer to launch I started off in halgarad but some of my friends were in tursh. So i decided to start to travel over to them. Well being a low lvl i attracted a lot of adds. One time i was being attacked by a mob that apperently gave me a kill shot as soon as I chunked. The chunk lagged for a bit but then i noticed i still was walking around, had all of my armor, and no exp loss but the death timer with the release button had appeared. I soon figured out that i can travel around but would not pick up adds. I was even able to chunk into different zones, still not getting attacked. I figured i had about 10 min for this, but even after the auto-release timer ended i could still run around without picking up adds. I eventually had to re-log to get things back to normal. I wish now i would of tried more things to see if i could find away to attack any mobs. I kept the same exp and all my armor equiped as well. Although i was a low lvl and i cant remember if i could even have death penalty or not. Maybe someone can use this information to lead on to some kind of invinciblity exploit. But once again i havnt tried to do this recently and its been a few months since this has happened.

I am pretty new to the site and hopefully this is not old news to the community. I've gone through the forums and didn't see anything like this previously posted. Thanks.

This sometimes happens when you fall through the world and instantly die, you're still standing but it says you have died, and the release box is sitting there. Then it'll teleport you to a safe spot saying you fell under the world, then you can run around for a while and players/mobs won't see you. But the issue is, in a few seconds/minutes (the timing seems fairly random) you'll crash to desktop and then come back, with 3m invulnerability and recall timer reset. I haven't found a way to actually abuse such a thing, since it is so short lived.
