Warp to boat exploit. : Vanguard Premium Discussions

I have seen something similar to this in use. I am not sure how it works. So I figured I would ask here.

Basically what happens is. The character being attacked (pvp, I am sure it would have uses on non pvp also). warps from where they are standing to their boat. I would assume it has to be in the same chunk as you are in. But not 100% sure.

Anyone know what or how this works?

In game feature, press D when you are near any boat and you will be teleported aboard.

hit U to get on your boat

Then you just run off of it and u can hit either hit ur boat button or U again and u will be ported back, guildie was doin this once forgot how he said he did it...

So:
1. Get on ur boat so u have the "sailing" box
2. run off (dont hit any other boat related button)
3. either hit boat spawn/despawn button or U again to leash back.

feel free to gimme points if this works :p

*edit* guildie was doin it up to like 80 yards+ away

I have seen it working up to 500+ meters. Basically if their is water in the zone, I have seen a few people warp all the wa to their boats. All in combat, some even slept, stunned, mezzed. All makeing it to their boats.

The real way to conduct this trick is as follows as I have been using it extensively for 4 months. It has saved my !@#$%^* time and time again on a pvp server and my druid has over 4k infamy. Here it goes,

1. You do not need your own boat, you can use any boat that is sitting in the water stationary may it be a caravel or a sloop.

2. You must have levitate or cloudwalk on, this trick can no be performed witout it.

3. You approach the boat and press the quickboard key which is defaulted to U I believe. (Remember you have lev or cloudwalk on at this point)

4. You will see the little sailing box icon pop up that tells water depth etc, DO NOT CLOSE THIS OUT. For some reason this box is vital to the exploit.

5. You run off the boat just simply by holding up and as long as that little sailing box is up and your lev or cloudwalk is still on at anytime you can press U or the quickboard key and instantly warp back into your boat from anywhere in the chunk. Once you zone out of the chunk you will loose the tie with your boat most times.

6. A tip: When using this exploit be sure your boat will be about 300 clicks from where you will want to dissapear from, this way mobs will not chase you and people can not /target you and see that you have teleported. It is a very bannable offense if caught. This trick has saved my !@#$%^* in many encounters vs. mobs and other players alike. It is a nice trick to run in and starfall someone out of a 5 person group and dissapear before they can take action I hope you all enjoy and if any questions please send me a message I would be glad to help out.
