For work orders, you want to start at a crafting table. It'll first try to do any work orders you already have. Next, it will go to the taskmaster for the table type you were just at, attempt to turn in work orders (alternately abandon them or try the next taskmaster depending on log text), then if you set the alternate flag, it will go to the other taskmaster to obtain work orders. If none available, it switches taskmasters again. Then it goes to the utility merchant and replenishes utilities, then (if specified) it will repair gear and finally return to the craft tables where the cycle repeats.
it will abandon a work order if it tries to turn one in and gives the "you don't have enough items..." log message. i.e., either none were crafted or they all failed.
For tools, as long as you have the toolbags configured right and the tools are in their proper places, it shouldn't get stuck in a loop. This can happen, however, if you're using the Craft Helper mode and forget to switch the bot to refining or finishing to match your table.
I found out what i was doing wrong to cause the work orders not to be obtained by the taskmaster. during the setup, i over thought the 1-10 choosing of available WO's. i started from the the 4th or 5th down which is why it never was able to get new WO's. i figured that out and adjusted .
i am still having a problem though with choosing the right toolbag. it seems as tho it only wants to click in 1 spot regardless of where the tools are. it always clicks on Belt 2. i tested this by reconfiguring to where it had to switch to belt 1 for a tool. it clked 2 over and over. i was not in helper mode and i also chked the config file which showed the correct location.
i thought maybe i moved the crafting window by mistake and maybe that was the problem. i moved it overto the right and now it onlys clks belt 1.
i'm not sure what this could be.
any thoughts?
maybe i need to redo my toolbar setup?
