Each time i try to run this it goes boom right as it is trying to draw the overlay i think... anyone else having issues?

ok geezer. I included a VGEWrapper.dll with version 1.7 that allows you to include it in a .net app. There are a bunch of functions in the VGEHelper.dll too that you might use if you need'em.

eacable, if you have ShowPOI=True or if you do not have a ShowPOI entry in VGExtremeRadar.ini then add ShowPOI=False

If it still crashes give me a little more detail, OS, error message, etc...

I do not see that in the VG file mentioned... where do I need to add it in?

I am slow and stupid with this stuff so please bear with me :D

Actually looking at it again I do not even see that ini file in the directory...

EDIT -

So I created the ini file by hand and inputted the string you mentioned above and I still go boom...

I am trying to get a snap of the error but all it does is goto the "Send into windows screen"

Geezer, I added VG.Player.CHunkX and ChunkY to the API so you dont haev to encode memory locs in yoru code as well as you dont have to patch it on patch days.

Eacble, are you able to run any VGExtreme scripts? Your not even getting to the point of creating the RadarHUD class.

Wyvernx, yeah, I have those commented out in the code now. I will hopefully have a .net version up soon.

New update, VGExtremeRadar 1.6 - Flicker fixed!

New Features:
1) Caches the POI database - Press download in settings to force an update
2) Added a close button for borderless windows - Labeled X in top-right corner
3) Added a quick toggle button to turn off drawing - Labeled T in the top-left corner
4) Improved the z-Order, child clipping and implemented double-buffering - NO MORE FLICKER!!!

It parses the POI web page on Register to unlock hidden link to find all the available chunk files for download. It then downloads all the individual files and joins them into a cache file. You can force an update by either deleting the CustomPoIName.cache or by clicking the Download button in the settings dialog.

New update:

New Features:
1) Can define harvesting paths within the radar
2) Build-in harvesting bot
3) All harvesting nodes are added to the settings file as they are discovered (hopefully will be used in the future)

Instructions:
Bind macros to hotkeys:
In hotkey 1
/targetnextnode

In hotkey 2
/e
/autoattack

In hotkey 3
/lootall

You may have to set your turning rate to 100% in the Vanguard controls setting to make the bot path smoothly. Also be sure to set your path around objects that you may get stuck on, and avoid any aggro areas. Currently the bot blissfully ignores adds and continues trying to harvest.

Press the 'H' button on the radar GUI to popup the harvesting screen. Enter a new path name and press 'Load' to create a new path. If the already exists it will load the points into the listbox. Press 'Add' to either add the resource node if targeted or to add a path point. Select a point from the listbox and press 'Insert' to insert a resource or path above the selected point. Press 'Delete' to remove the selected point. The nodes and path will be visible on the radar as you add them. All changes are real-time and do not need to be saved. Once you have your path set press 'Go' to start harvesting. And lastly, press 'Stop' to stop the harvesting bot.

If I can figure out how to add defense for adds without coding a whole new killer bot I will post an update.

I have noticed I have not been able to send messages to people or chat after I run this and have to exit VG and restart to type again...but that was before this update with the harvesting bot seems to work fine now and love the harvesting bot

just curious, i setup the harvesting bot and it runs to the points but doesnt harvest

any ideas?

I'm having the issue as as Eacable i presume.

I open VGExtreme, open project VGExtremeRadar, start...
the VG client window gains focus then I get this error "VGExtreme has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."

I have windows script debugger, latest DirectX and graphics drivers, and running VG windowed. Ive been able to run other scripts in VGExtreme without any issues. Any ideas or additional information I can give to get this running?

What version OS and what service pack? Also what antivirus software?

oleaut32.dll error could be caused when I am creating the scripting objects, but that error should not crash VGE unless your AV protection is killing it.

If possible, disable script blocking and try again.

Can you add a timer so that if the bot hasnt finished harvesting, it moves on anyway after 1 min or something along those lines. Sometimes another resource is close and the targetnextresource command has the wrong resource target'd and the bot sits there forever until you manualy untarget.
