Banning people for using FS/TT : World of Warcraft General Discussions

Hi, new to the boards here, but I've used FS/TT in the past before - recently put my account back on active.

I heard that starting round 1.5-1.6, the WoW client began checking open processes in windows to see if users were running certain 3rd party programs and using this information to ban accounts.

My question is, are they doing this for FS/TT, and if so, is there any way to get around it? I'm not interested in speedboosts, winning BGs, or anything - I want to discreetly level characters.

Any help on this would be great, I just want to know if it's "safe" (not whether I'm going to get caught in game, but whether the client is going to turn me in).
