For any one who played WoW yet : World of Warcraft General Discussions

What are your views on it? And how does it compair to Lineage 2?

i havnt played BUT i heard someone say that all they were focus'ed on were quests, and that the quests were more in depth and that he never even stopped to level up, just been doing quests, and hes level 15.

i tried both... basically it comes down to:
fun or better looking.

wow really doesn't look that great if u ask me... too cartoonish, BUT its very fun. fun in the sense u can do LOTS of things such as making food, cloths, mining, fishing etc. also there is more classe and more variations

l2 on the other hand looks reallll nice. but there r less activities to do, basically just fighting and questing (which is just another part of fighting)



i like BOTH games, but if u ask me which i would wanna play for FUN, i would go with wow. i would play l2 for the looks...

so it really depends on u, which is important? fun or coolness? =)

Your missing the main part of L2. Castle Sieges.

castle siege is fun sorry i missed it... but castle sieges just aren't that well designed... for people with slow computer , that many player clumped together will cause IMMENSE lag...

plus it's only once a week

You have to remember lineage 2 is done. WoW is in beta still, not even close to finished. Put it this way. Lineage 2 is 15 bucks to fight mobs and yes the castle sieges are pretty cool, but WoW is also implementing seiges except its a outpost vs. outpost and you can destroy the buildings. Also WoW is colorful. If you are going to pick a game to play i would pick WoW because i've played both and lineage 2 is a lot more boring and slow then WoW. Wow keeps you interested all the time and you never feel like crap I have to do this before i can have some fun.

i actually just played wow cracked server sandbox (nothing except running around) and already i favour wow over l2 hehe

haha yea that was filled with more excitement then lineage 2 was for me.

the more i run around with my char on the sandbox without weapons or monstesr, the more i like wow.. its so much easier to control!...
i really really like wow... but i might still buy l2? why? cause i've played every single game from blizzard, wanna try somethign different. plus l2 is a bit easier to exploit i think due to the fact its translated from another language...

also wow loads and lags much less than l2!!! (less lag in the sense on you're computer)
