I' ve just started a new account and i chose a NE rogue. It is a cool and vicious character and i like it a lot. Now comes the real question, do I need the herbalism? If i do, y I do, and if i don't what skill should i use???

become a herbalist and miner cause theyre the best for makin money then ull for sure have a mount by 40. dont get into alchemy though cause u dont make money, unless u want the potions but it takes a while to make good ones and there still wont be a profit out of it.

and then later after lvl 40 or so u can switch mining to alchemy and once ur a rogue that would be a good proffession to get into anyway.

just my opinion u dont have to follow it if u choose

to bad ur a night elf though cause we always need more ppl on the horde :P j/k

Ok, sorry man, but that's just wrong. You never want to do both herb/mining, because then you run the problem of not being able to use both the "Find X" things. My suggestion is to do mining/skinning, herb/skinning, or skinning/leatherworking, because leatherworking makes good money and you can suit yourself up. Also, if you just want straight money what you can do is become a tailor/enchanter, you use the cloth you make to create items from tailoring, then you DE the items and sell the mats, it can make you a really good profit, and later on enchanters make a ton using their high level enchants...and tailoring makes the best items to DE for most mats.

If your a rogue I'd probably go with Leather-Working/Skinning then I'd go to Tribal leather working..
