I'm lost!A request! : World of Warcraft General Discussions

Where do I go? I have a rogue that just hit 40 and has a mount. I'm wondering where to level, other than STV and Tanaris.

Those 2 places are mostly were ur gonna be, i know it sucks, but this game has alot of grinding in it. try hitting the badlands and see what u can do there. also uldaman should be a instance u can do now. goodluck

srry to say but ever since i hit 40 now i am 47 and im still in tanaris sure theres other places but the dunemaul ogres there have good xp for lvl 42+ and if u get lucky they have very very very good drops just make sure ur killing the dunemaul ogres in the dunemaul compound, i wasted hours of my day in the eastmoon ruins and which later found out about the dunemaul compound 30 feet west man i felt stupid

Tanaris is great ! I loved leveling in Tanaris, at 46 or so you can also do ZF runs till 50 or so... Great place, great grinding, some good quests, fun PvP scene if your on a PvP server like myself Good place, but I guess not everyone loves it as much as myself So yeah. Ulda, ZF a bit later (may get in earlier then 46 doubt it tho) , Feralas was mentioned that might work (never really went there much myself), I cant really think of to many other places right now.

Are you grinding the water spring fields? Should start there for first few lvls, around 45 I think I went to the area surrounding the caverns of time and kills the dogs, and basilisks and birds there (good skinning and vendor drops as well) Then it was ZF and the cactus valley place till 50 or 51 or something.

heh, im 57 now... grind'n in ferelas, tanaris, swamp of sorrows (emerald whelps FTW) , a little blasted lands, a little searing gorge, a lil winterspring, ad some felwood... and ALOT of ZF, uld, ST, BRD, and 1 or 2 DM runs helped me

At 40 for horde you could do numerious places... Once you hit 40 for can start doing Uldaman (Although I hate it...) as well as various other quests in the Badlands. Just head over all the way to the east until you get to Kargath, there's numerious quests to do there. I'd stay here until around 42-ish then go to Feralas and go to Camp Mojache (If you folow the road you can't miss it) there are a lot of quest to do there and that should easliy put you up to 44 or 45. Once you hit this level you can do Zul'farrak which has a few quests and good exp. You can also go to Tanaris and through these places you should be able to get up 47 atleast, though after doing all the quests in Feralas, The Badlands, and Tanaris I was 51. If your not 50 yet you can go and do some quests in The Blasted Lands, though I'd advice you bring somebody with you since there are normally a few 60 alliance people there that will want to corpse-camp you since they can't kill anything their own level. Also when you hit 48-ish you can start to run Maraudon, at 48 you'd probably only get into a group for purple side but as you get a little bit higher you can do groups for orange side and princess runs.

at 43...i am proud that i can walk thru Tanaris somewhat safely lol, i kill the bandits and stuff...havent found dunemaul yet, tho
