Ok so how do people powerlevel friends and such in this game? I have a friend that wants to start douing with me but he just started and is 26 levels behind. I tried grouping with him and he got really bad xp....like 16 for a mob twice his level.

Anyone do this in WoW yet? Any ideas?

What is your higher level character's profession?

If a higher level character attacks a mob a low level character is working on, it will substantially reduce the the exp that lowbie gets.

So with that in mind, I\if I had to guess (and it is a guess), I'd try partying with and getting him through a quest rather quickly and see if the exp from the quest is enough to continue doing that. If not, try buffing him and or healing him instead while he solo's mobs.

ya if you have a lvl 60 friend once th lowbie gets say all the quests for a instance the lvl 60 can take out the entire place quick. the lowbie dosnt get much exp but finishes quests for red exp so probly like 3500k each quest and gets some good drops for sell or hold onto

dont group with him, let him tag the mob, then just keep healing him, or attack the mob for him, without grouping, sounds like it would give good xp.
