Priest Tech Tree...which one is the best? : World of Warcraft General Discussions

I recently got my account with Wow two weeks ago and I'm currently working with a Lvl 15 Dwaf Priest. I've read countless topics in regards to which tech tree is the best for my char and none has seemed helpful for me. I'm currently the only priest in my guild (with lvl 25's and 40's). I want to help support my party members, but I find it difficult to grind w/o my teammates by. Is there anyone give me any suggestions where I should spend my talent points?

speccing your priest is verry easy. you go shadow spec till your 60 then you go holy/Disc

I decent build:

Shadow Spec:

5 - Blackout
2 - Imp. ShW.P
3 - Shadow focus
1 - Mind flay
4 - Imp mind blast
3 - Shadow Reach
2 - Imp- Shadow scream
1 - Silence
5 - Shadow weaving
5 - Darkness
---------------
Shadow Total: 31

takes you to lvl 40. then you can go wher ever you want

In general the shadow specs has some uninteresting things and the rest is choose-if-you-want

Crappy talents:
Spirit tap
Shadow affinity
Imp. Fade
Vamp Embrace (unless your undead)
shadowform (your dropping all your heals for what?)
--------------------------

I know alot might diagree on this, but after leveling 2 priest (1 beta and onee final) this is what ive experienced to work best.

Just remember, even thow your shadow specced. It doesnt mean you hagve to do damage all the time. drop dps when your in a team and they need your heals. your still a good healer even thow your not tossing talents in.

Oh, PS: This build is ofc if you do alot of soloing. if your constantly partying. go holy/disc.
