Request: Gold guide : World of Warcraft General Discussions

could someone writh a really good gold guide for lvl 40 ppl?
im lvl 40 but i dont have enaugh gold for a mount

as i'm only lvl25 i don't really know about grand-scale gold-farming
BUT: i've read a post elsewhere covering the same issue,this is their advice:

when u're about 37 (or whatever) start farming by going to places where there are a lot of easy kills of about your lvl or slightly less (make sure they're yellow though)
sell EVERYTHING you loot and don't spend any money on anything
I.E. NO new gear, NO AH, NO .......

At this rate you'd supposedly make money very fast

the best place for a lvl 40 to be gold hunting is to farm armory and cathedral in scarlet monastary, and AH the greens, silk, mageweave, and remember to pick up any of the white or gray items as they are a good source of vendoring.

This may sound dumb but , get a few gold and buy higher slot bag/backpack.

If all your bags are 10 slots, get a traveller backpack/16 slots (approx 3g or Journeyman's Backpack/14 slots (approx 2g) to carry/sale items.You will see a big diffrence .

More slots = more money.

anyway I'm lvl 40 now and saving for my horse

SM cath and armory are bliss indeed:
each run yields about 2-5G,vendoring included
AH depends of course

Lake neferiti or something in STV is supposedly good as well (venture co.)

15$ US for 100gp. Since i make 28$/hr at my woork and dont have alot of playtime to spend farming I have no problem purchasesing it from people who devote all their time playing games. IGE FTW

HOW is a travelers 3G on my server they r 20G or higher and im lvl 53
btw farming SM is a great idea!!

i have a lvl 39 and i need gold for a wolf wear is the name of the plays too get gold ???!!!?!?!?

another good place to farm for gold are the trolls in the hinterlands, they drop mageweave quite often and range from 40 - 47, which is a good place to grind till about 50
also they drop Wildvine, which sells for 8g a stack of 10 on my server. in bout an hour or so ill make 2 - 4g just killing then selling the mageweave its an extra 2.5 - 3g per stack of 20, etc etc.

There are a bunch of gold guides, just search and look around the forums. I suggest learning some tradeskills, such as mining and blacksmithing, become very proficient in those skills and sell at the auction house.
