if u want a "all-around pvp/farm/solo/useful for instance raid alt"... mage would be top of the list for general usefulness. druid is definately one of the classes that has to pick a direction to become really good, healing, pvp, solo, etc...

classes to try (in order of OVERALL usefulness)...
- Mage (very useful for everything you would want... optional aoe build for ideal grinding/farming)
- Shaman (if horde, like a mage, they are very useful and durable... they come fully loaded with so many features and bonuses, its not even fair)
- Rogue (great farming, great solo, great pvp... instance, nothing special)
- Hunter (minimal downtime, very durable, good pvp after 40, great farmer because of low downtime, pet strength, and of course ultimate agro control including feign death... makes me reconsider putting them under Rogue for farming heh)

most other classes are wonderful for raping in a specific area of the game and can beat all 4 of these classes in pvp hands down if designed for it... this post remember is just for recommending an overall useful class :)

since u already has a priest, m sure u wont have problems with instancing
imo u should raise a farmer.. rogue or hunter

druids cant farm well

Yea lvling a farmer would be good, but if ur looking for an all-around pvp/farm/solo/useful for instance raid, i would personally go for Warrior, they are ok PvP - awesome in fury spec, great for farming cause they can take so much more dmg than every other class, great for soloing and always useful in instances cause everyone need a tank :)

hell... i have a druit and they are pretty sweet. but you cant get any pets or mounts until level 40 you cant duel wealed until 30 but you have alot of good magic attacks and you have very good range when you want to attack something very far away. So if i were you i'd go with a rouge because they can do all that at level 6 or 7.

I agree with the warrior thing.. if ur looking for a nice time playing warrior is awesome. Imo the best class to play is druid, but that maybe cos my first 60 was a druid.. second best is warrior

Since you already has a priest i wouldnt advise raising a druid, since on group u will be doing the same thing: healing
Warrior will be a nice change of pace, and lvling will be easier since u can give ur warrior some money and items to start

Anyway, it really difficult to get 2 chars all geared and ranked, so consider that, u might end up abandoning ur priest when your new char hits 60, or abandoning the new char :)

Personally I played a druid to level 30 and didn't like him. For grinding it's rogues and mages FTW. Mages have the AoE beatdown and rogues can solo the best of all.

love my mage for leveling up, grinding, questing, everything... for example :)

i had 15 hinterlands quests to do, most all involving killing 20 of some creature. i would hop on my mount and gather up stuff in the area and AoE. just love being able to knock out long quests in a hurry if you have to.

im a huge shadow priest fan though and couldnt stand not having one on my horde server... i never knew how much i would miss teleport till i made a new priest on horde :) its enough to make me want to transfer my mage to a different account and run wow on 2 comps just so he can follow me around teleporting me lol
