What are bots and macros : World of Warcraft General Discussions

I'm new and have no clue what bots and macros are.

Bots and macros are ways that people automate a game. Any game, not just WoW. For example a Rogue Leveling Bot would be a bot that automatically kills loots and levels a rogue.
