WoW Mapper/ Radar : World of Warcraft General Discussions

Is a mapping addon on/ radar in the works or available for WoW? I noticed in another post that it was stated that XU will work with WoW, what are the exact settings? I'm guessing I do not want my DAoC map pluggin loaded or DAoCUnleshed service.

So far I've gathered:

Alternate Hooking = Checked
Hook1 = Wow.exe
remove the reghandler plugin and uncheck the tcpip packet sniffer plugin-
(What is the reghandler plugin?)

Anything else other than launch path being set of course?

From what I know.. thats it..
Ive tested and had XU working fine in WoW
I dunno what else might be necessary..
Ive been trying to work with Admin/Wyv on some WoW plugins
I think if we had more people posting interest in these plugins they might see the demand a bit better.. All I know is that the guides Ive posted have a few hundred views, so SOMEONE is interested.. I dunno..

i am in the same boat as you my friend. i cancel my DAOC accounts already and if XU does not offer any WOW plugins there is no reason to renew my subscription either.

Providing you are a miner (why else would you look for them), mine veins are on the radar wow gives you, and you can toggle it too.

Just use the "Find Minerals" ability that was given to you when you became a miner. When its active an icon showing that its active is on the top left of the map.

When its active, any mines you are near show up as yellow circles with a dot in them.

I have stared a wow service.

No eta yet but adding in fishing locs right now.

except showing mobs and enemy players

im talking about real time map you had for daoc

right now we got to click on map to look were we going then click it off and move

Yes the coordinate system is one of the next things to go in. That will open up scripted routes, trade systems, and radar/map.

something about in wow server dont send information to client about diferent locations in area
and in daoc server send loc of things on server to clients

just currios how xunleashed services will be able to detect anything in area

Goto Register to unlock hidden link and find the Addons section and download Gatherer and install it into your Interface/Addons folder..it does ..well half of that.

Every node you mine or chest you open gets marked on your Mini map and large map..so you can easily find out where the nodes are if you ever have to come back to find them later.
