you guys are outa the loop lol

They stopped selling wow temporarily for the sole fact that at the rate of which they were flying off shelves the wow servers could not handle it. They are going to do some upgrades on their servers then continue to sell. You can still buy the game at ebgames though. I believe they expected to have 300k players by this time, but instead they instantly had over 300k players in the first couple months. No worries.

Go to Cnet and search for a recent article about how they were totally slammed by the success of the game. It's been off the shelves for a few weeks now.

Nope. The game is doing great. I bet it's a bittersweet situation to be working at Blizzard right now... You've got this game that everybody loves. At the same time, you're working 14 hour days because you've got this game that everybody loves!

I bought it at WalMart yesterday for $39.99 and they have about 50 more on the shelf.

he he, yeah I went to like 20 different stores trying to get a copy then at the last one somebody finally told me about them holding off of sending any more copies to retail right now.

I ended up buying it from the Blizzard website and with tax, handling, shipping it came to $58.49.

now I am just sitting around waiting for my copy to arrive........

I just went out for a copy...everyone said it would be hard to find, yet the first place I tried (Game Stop) had I swear 20 freakin' copies of the game! I bought one (tax free, 10% discount...gods I love the Navy!) and will be playing it soon!
