Caster Massive Damage Exploit (Nerfed) : World of Warcraft Nerfed Info

Friend Sent me this in Game. Its an awesome trick he send me a link of a picture where its working so i added it in here. Enjoy.

Dreamweave armor adds 1-35 damage to damaging spells. Rather than check that value each time a spell is cast they decided to save themselves some floating point calcs and only check it ONCE... that time being when the armor is first put on.

So you put on a Dreamweave Vest and a roll is made and that value is added to your global damage modifier. When you take the vest off it makes another roll and subtracts that value from your global spell damage modifier. Note that it doesn't take off the SAME random value it added when you put it on, but instead takes off a different random value from 1-35.

So say you put the vest on and it rolls a 10 and so all yer spells are at +10 damage. If you take it off then it rolls a 27. Now you are at -17 damage to all spells you cast... Not a good thing!

However if you get lucky then your put-on roll is higher than your take-off roll and you end up with a NET gain of +damage. This is endlessly repeatable so via a random walk process you can end up with a HUGE +damage modifier and then put on your Arcanist or whatever real armor to go PvP'ing in. Of course you are equally likely to end up with a HUGE -damage modifier so you have to take care to keep track of what your modifier is at any time and dress/undress accordingly.

what's that supposed to mean? I dont see how you can keep track of what your modifier is and you said it's totally random what gets added so how can you dress/undress *accordingly* if it's random?

Well if you equip it then take it off and cast some you can see your avg dmg. Then try it again and do that a few times. You should be able to then find a larger than normaly dmg modifier which would make it benificial.

i saw my friend do this, he soloed a bunch of lvl 60 elites. crazy stuff.

Well its just the game mechanics. I bet its highly against you to get higher dmg and instead lower. Sucks that you have to wait awhile to get it but when you do its far worth it. You do so much more dmg its crazy.

What level character do you have to be in order to be capable of wearing the dreamweaver armor and where can you buy or loot ?

already hotfixed this morning... i made 2k gold yesterday soloing 60 elite thats what happen when 1 open his mouth in such a community .. it spread fast

Naw broden got it from a friend in game so im assuming others alreadyknew which means someone probably was a WOW taddy tale hah.
