WOW Cheat: Exploit ZG Faction : World of Warcraft Nerfed Info

The new ZG zone is great fun, but the faction is a total pain.
Prereq is you need to be 58

step 1 - remove ANY ZG faction tokens you have in your bags (bank em, use em, destory em)
step 2 - fill your bags except for 1 slot (a stack of arrows split up works great)
step 3 - put 2 of the same color Bijou in the last slot (these are dropped in ZG or bought in the AH) (look at the picture)
step 4 - goto the destruction alter on Yojamba Island
step 5 - right click the stacked Bijou's (to destroy) and recive the inventory full message
step 6 - repeat step 5 until your max faction
step 7 - go get your free epic necklace

Few questions have been asked,
It is about 40 minutes of clicking total
It is still working Sep 27 05 5:30pm EST
I expect it to get hotfixed as soon as it is discovered.

No one I know has been banned (20+ accounts). I have caught 2 people I didn't tell this info to using this exploit, so I can assume someone else has discovered it, or people are reading this thread, using it and not posting confirmation.

What is the likelyhood that you could get caught and or banned for this?

doesnt seem to me like its that easy to get banned for it

may want to space out your faction increase or something

like spam turn-ins once every 12 hours or so

but dayum! if the works, thank god

hopefully it will still work after today's maintenace (sept 27th)

would love some confirmation on this and/or any ban reports

wow ya, this definately works... shared it with some guildies and they all were able to do it from these instructions. they all go their epic item and maxed out ZG faction... although we really cant figure out what else having exhaulted ZG faction does for you besides the epic item... heres the rogue one a friend got...

sorry when i posted that i hadnt really investigated this yet, i kinda just meant in general... always gotta worry when exploiting. Im SURE that in this case the worst that will happen is they will turn off the exploit and there is a slim chance but if its a big enough advantage for those who used it, they would remove the bonuses from having exhaulted with ZG or possibly reset your reputation points...

the reason they prolly wont do ne thing but fix it is because no "tricks" are used to get this to work, its is a programing error on their part that makes this possible... they will prolly just fix it in an upcoming patch

Just to give you guys an update, a friend of mine said that one of his friends on another server was doing this, and someone felt like reporting him, and i guess the GM then msg'd him and just told him to stop.


And im sure it will be hotfixed by morning ~

Update, as of about 2 hours ago i heard from someone at the alter ( apparently alot of people were doing it) GM's were sleeping people who were doing the faction bug

No one was around, and I got frozen and warned by a GM

they know about it and are probably actively watching that place now
