WOW Cheat: Work around to give Trial Members Gold : World of Warcraft Nerfed Info

Hey all,

Here's an exploit(?) I found while helping out a new player with a Trial Account. Under normal circumstances you cannot trade with a Trial Member. That includes Mailing them in-game. I was helping this guy out, and wanted to give him some gold for lvl 1 and 3 equipment, only to find that I couldn't open a trade window.

However, if you want to, you can party with the person, then use the /split command to give them money.

I used "/split 100000", and since only me and him were in party, it gave him 5 gold. =) /cheer

Though the usefulness of this is limited, it can be helpful, and it can certainly help a new player decide to keep playing.

yes, this is an exploit, the game was not intended to work like that. I've seen this before, but it might have not left the submissions, if it hasnt, then I say worth a good 100 points for getting around blizzards way of screwing newbs over

It's a shame...todays patch:

- The /split command has been disabled.

so nerfed or any other way around it?

As far as I know, it's nerfed. That didn't last long. =(
