once you have the gold, do you suggest mailing it back to a character on your original account? or will that flag that account too? would trading it to a guildy to hold be a safer bet?

i want to try this, but i do NOT want my primary account banned in the process. what do you guys suggest?

best way to deal get rid of the gold is buying stuff through the AH and bouncing the items/gold through several accts/chars only problem is most people do not have a wide network of accts to do so.

It is also possible to launder money through NPCs, by buying expensive items and selling it back to the npc or through the AH. Epic Mounts come to mind when doing this. But it takes time (and hassle) and can be suspicious if you are selling 3 or 4 epic mounts a week.


Easiest method is mailing the gold, delete the scammer char.
Bounce it a few times through mules, Deleting the mules for added safety.

has anyone gottened banned specifically for this? this seems very bannable. If no one has than Ill have to try it, sounds like a good one.

Well as far as i know, it its only items that Blizzard can trace, they are not abble to trace gold/silver/cooper, the best way i think to do this is: when u got the gold on your lvl 1 char, get a friend to log on with your other account and make a lvl 1 char, meet up and trade the gold, trade to guild member, delete mule, get guild member to trade it to your main. dont send it in mail, they can trace mails. But they cant track gold that u trade=) Good luck guys

No, your character information goes by account, not character name. If you delete it, it just gives the GM 5 more seconds of work.

I'm not gonna say yay or nay to this one, not too great in my opinion but I guess it works.

I got 3 60'ies and dont even know what sunders armour is. But then again i mainy have lvled my characters and then straight on to next one. But now i am starting to do ZG/MC and BWL. But if your a mage and dont know what frost nova is you should be banned IMO. LOL on my mage i use frost nova the most

Make a 10day trial account. then mail gold to someone you trust and have em mail it to your main

I LOVE this scam. It's made me 400 gold already, (making me very lazy) so I can buy whatever I want! Great post man.

Please, no one share this on any other forums, soon it will become well known if that happens and will not work very well.

This can easily get you banned is the person that is scamed reports you, I just got my first 72hr ban, and I only got 50 gold in the process luckily that was sent to another account
