Well I thought I may help contribute since I really havent yet. So here is my first thread and it is a GOOD ONE!

As I was just questing in Dragonblight I killed a certain mob and noticed an awfully strange weapon drop. It was the Enti's Quenched Sword. Here is a link to the sword: Enti's Quenched Sword - Thottbot: World of Warcraft. Well the weapon says it only does 2-3 dmg but i noticed when i equipped it for sh#ts and giggles that it had hidden stats on it. My rend started ticking for over 1000 each time. I thought this must have been wrong, but when i sent the sword to my lvl 19 twink warrior I tried it out in a WSG and WOW!!!!. I just ran around putting rend on everybody(which at this level only ticked for 125). I out DPSed everybody by atleast 4 times including going 40-1 kills to death. The sword drops off of Kreug Oathbreaker in Dragonblight which is a level 73 elite.

Well I hoped this helped a lot of you twinks out there and happy hunting!!!

Note: you can't put any BC or WotLK enchants on it even though it says level 200 item level. I personally just put crusader on mine.

Huge yay and confirmation from me.

It's a bit of a pain to kill the mob if you dont wear plate (he was hitting me for about 2.5k on my 80 shaman really fast), but it's well worth it

Once you get rend as a warrior you can basically run around doting up mobs. The rend at level 7 for me is ticking for about 125 damage... level 7 mobs only have around 120 lol.

Cant wait to try this on players.

/yay soloed as an elemental shaman and had it drop first time. His enrage effect is a spell so it can be de-spelled with purge...very easy fight.

/yay great find! this weapon is also good for any other class that can use two handed swords at early levels, the dmg range is between 50-300 on my low level horde pali. the dmg it does at such a low level is crazy! I had some people stop and watch me cause i was one shotting some mobs at such a low level

/yay Well, knew someone would post on here so i didn't bother. I personally put 25 agility on mine for crit since with the amount of hits you get in on someone, 4 second attack speed, is relatively low. Anyway, I heard about this sword, got it with an 80 pally tanking and my mage burning him down. Took 5 tries to get us both a sword. I made a warrior, had a shitload of fun killing people in duels, i didnt even bother doing some of the quests becuase you can just run around one hitting everything. All in all, excellent sword, GM told me they were still deciding on what they were doing with it. Use it while you can!!

wowhead reports a drop rate of around 43%.

Also, multiple GM's have stated that this weapon does what it was intended to do, and is no bug.

If you're interested, here's the origin of the sword.
bizold wrote:It seems to me that this sword is a reference to an old Everquest item called Inte's Sword of Death.

The sword was a drop off a mob (Inte Akera) that was thought to be unkillable. During the old days of EQ, in order for a weapon to appear on a mob or NPC, they had to be holding the item which had the desired weapon graphic.

The guild Fires of Heavens killed the mob and received the sword which was equipped by the paladin Kreugen. Kreugen and Furor (the leader of the guild) dueled after Kreugen looted the weapon, and Furor was defeated in seconds due to the overpowered stats on the weapon. (The Paladin "epic" weapon which was the best paladin weapon in the game at the time can be found here for comparison.

Shortly after (2 days or so) the item was nerfed by EQ devs and also made "No Rent" (same as a summoned item, disappears after logging out).

The sword being "quenched" likely refers to the fact that the original EQ sword was nerfed. This theory is further supported by the fact that the original bearer of the weapon was named Kreugen and the NPC that drops the item is named Kreug.
