WOW Exploits: Shaman Windfury Bug (Quad Strikes w/ 1 Weapon) : World of Warcraft Nerfed Info

As of the recent patch, if you cast WF 4 on your main hand, and WF 3 on your off hand, you can get quad windfury strikes with one weapon.

With the current WF mechanics, if you have rank 4 on both weapons, it can only proc once every three seconds.

its wery nice this one, have know it since before the storm patch, was using glider and was done with that, and decided to reenchant my weapon with windfury, and dint realise i had the two maces on me, so started a quest and all of sudden i get 4 hits cause gliders bar was with windfury 1 and my bar 1 was with windfury 2

you are really not quadding with 1 weapon. Your are doing back to back wind furies with each weapon.

But i didnt post just to point that small fact out and be a !@#$%^&*. Just wanted to point out, even though this is a great piece of info. Shammies should not use it blindly; as i have already seen happen in a few instances. Windfury is great BURST DPS; therefore, its great for PvP. But if used in raids/instances you'll draw agro and die, or waste lots of mana.

Otherwise if you are a dual wielding shammie, your choice of weapon enchants lies mostly in the attack speed of each weapon. There is a small bit of info on the official shammie forums; a sticky with a list of enhancement info and gear. There is a small explaination of attack speeds. There is also a little bit of info on this on the wowshaman.com forums just a single post (asking WFx2 or soemthing liek that).

We can. Patch 2.1 is making it so that each windfury will only proc on its respective hand.

From the patch notes:

Windfury Weapon: Mixing two different ranks of Windfury Weapon while dual-wielding will no longer increase the number of Windfury Weapon procs.

Yep, they're nerfing it next patch. I bought lord of the rings today to play instead of WoW until they "un-!@#$%^&*" us.
