Well, you can't actually buy the fireworks yourself, you have to make them, so I think it would be too expensive to be worth it.

No it does not totally work. You can only gain up to 1700 rep by handing in the fireworks now.

I know this because on the 4th of July I bought a ton of green fireworks for 16c each from the holiday vendor, now I have a ton left over to go up in the AH.

Imo this must be a guide copied from somewhere and the auther has not chekked aanything, so please Broden enlighten us on how to do this at the moment and now 6 months ago when the fireworks was avalible.

...you havent checked anything >.< dont just assume somethings c+p and its very annoying when you see someone accuse someone of something without proof, lots of spelling errors and just in case you dont reaad bold letters, it says "I DONT TAKE CREDIT FOR MY WORK" or something like that.

I just bought this schematic today. If you follow the link on the first post it sends you to the thotbot site. It tells you where you can buy the schematic. I went to Booty Bay and sure enough the vendor had it. Its one of those items where the vendor only sells them 1 at a time and you have to wait for him to refresh before you will see it again. Another alternative is to stock up on the fireworks during the holiday season when fireworks are sold on the holiday vendors. This past Fire Solstice was a good example. It has been my experience though that wanted items at the fair change. I have seen this same NPC at the fair wanting red fireworks in the past. That's my two cents worth.

The vendor outside orgrimmar is selling green fireworks for 16cp:
1. Does this still work?
2. Does it work even if Im not an engineer?
