Copied from the aoc board. Just curious if anyone has gotten wind of it.
So the 10k exp quest exploit?
They are going to fix this yes? =D I have no idea how to do it and have never seen it.. but it needs to get taken care of... and the abusers need a roll back.


I hate to say it but the best way to get something done about that quest being exploited is to explain it on the forums so everyone can see it. Which will force Funcom to correct the issue, perhaps even do a log check and find those who have been exploiting it and roll them back. Should be a pretty easy search , just check for increments of experience by 10k ( or whatever the figure is ) and sort... start with players 30+ and work your way up and simply remove all exp gained from that quest.

/shrug Things like this are why I rolled a pve server .. I don't want some clown thats exploiting to get a hand up on me and anytime you roll a pvp server.. it happens.

Tault admin say yay or nay to this... if you guys pull something like this I will make sure myself and my friends subscriptions will be cancelled. This site is to offer these tricks/exploits/guides not learn then and then take them off so others can't use them.

Can anyone actually confirm the mods removed the post in order to use it themselves? If so that's actually the reverse of what this forum is packaged to be. I'm not going to pay for a service designed to let the mods get access to exploits they hide from the rest of us. It might explain why in 2 years or longer I've yet to ever find a worthwhile exploit on the site.

I'm not saying they are. I'm saying if it's true I'm canceling my subscription. Clearly it was posted and removed so I have to ask why?

So the post was deleted? So what the mods can use it and not the members?

I doubt that is the case. There are any number of reasons this might occur, and in all my years as a member here I've never seen anything like what is being suggested here - I doubt any of you have as well.

Stop being so impatient for an answer - and if someone can repost it, then please do while we wait for the admin's to wake up, drink a cup of coffee, find this thread, read it, and respond to it.
