AoC Guides - Solo Grind Spot For Every Level, Blues Too! : Age of Conan Guides, Bots & Tools

The destiny quests provide some of the best solo grind spots. I decided to never finish my Destiny Quests until a new one was available. This provides me with my own spot and mobs scaled to my level. So when I am out of quests, or all the good spots are being camped, I just goto my destiny quest, and grind, I just don't finish the final requirement on the quest.

I get about 5 bars of exp grinding out the lvl 60 Destiny Quest with it set to my level of 62. On top of the exp, im also farming tradable blue items off the boss in here. You can get blue drops off him multiple times. I've gotten 3 blues in 2 runs so far.

After every run, exit the dungeon, invite someone to your group. Then click to go back in the dungeon but instead click "Unbind." That will reset your private little grind spot.

I'm coming up on my next destiny quest - can you explain a little more so I can try this out?

First - you go through the quest just to completel it and you get the checks or whatever to turn in. But instead of turning in you leave the instance, then you group with someone (What is the reason for this?), then you go back in to farm, clicking the unbind?

Then that is supposed to reinstate the instance? Let me know if this is the case so I can try this out. Thanks!

you just go in, clear the zone for exp and items, don't do the quest objectives. When you leave the quest zone, you need to be leader of a group to reset the instance, that's why you invite someone to group so you can click "unbind" which is a button that will appear next to the "Enter" and "exit" buttons as you click to re-enter the zone.

Essentially becoming your own personal grind spot, it'll scale to your lvl. I personally don't find myself in a hurry to turn in my destiny quest, you'll always get the same exp for turning it in at any level, so i save it for this.

This won't work. The instance is bound to you, you can't reset those instances.

Yes you can. Try it and see. Like he said, I'll only be turning in my level 50 destiny quest when my 60 comes up. It does work. Basically like all the other instances can be reset.

did my 61 destiny q just now :S killed all bosses but i didnt loot the phoenx medallion i just left the instance.. invited someone.. did UNBIND... entered.. left party.. but still wasnt reset... is this nerfed.. anyone can confirm? or am i doing something wrong

+ when it got resset .. i dont know what i did exactly.. the unbind option doenst work at once :S when i click it... hey i dinged 62 in ther.e. went out.. when i got in again and there where respawns.. they wherestill 61 :S.. is this suppose to happen or do the mobs keep up with ur lvl?

Just tried this tonight two/three times on my lvl 60 desinty quest.

Must be nerfed.

It woks im level 63 grinding on lvl 63 mobs in there back to back and the one boss respawns.

Well, idk why this doesn't work for you, i've been doing it alot... so good for me i guess =p

im going to pst a SS of the unbind button tomorrow, it may only work for the lvl 60 Destiny Quest.

gave me the unbind option.. i clicked it.. wouldnt let me in the instance though =(

i had to disband to get back in

only killed 2 regular named.. didn't do any of the quest things.. do the people have to be in the same instance/ the person i grouped with was in a villa instance atm

I did loot the tunnel key though.. could that be !@#$%^* with it?

Ok.. i deleted the key.. I'm bugged atm can't see guild members.. lol i was able to invite someone.. and it got reset somehow lol

The other odd thing.. is I dinged 61 in the first instance but the mobs in here are still 60

Ok latest update.. I unbinded again.. went back in all mobs are level 60.. the first time I unbinded I either missed the cursed guy completely or he didn't respawn with the unbind. Someon ehave a loc for him?

Before I even saw this post I was doing it - however, with this last patch, if your farming it DO NOT kill the final boss.
Because you will not be able to get the key, the final boss will NOT respawn despite resetting the rest of the npcs and thus the forcefield thingy will still be there.

Dev's are aware of it from what i've read, but just a heads up for those farming it.
