Dupe : AC Exploit and Macro Discussion

Needs a confirmation

What you need.
A) Something to dupe.*winks*
B) Residence (apartment probably the best choice here, as its the shortest run to your chest, time matters trust me)
C) I recommend 2 accounts (that way "IF" you get caught, you were using your secondary account, and it won't be a HUGE loss from what you have profited.)
D) A crashed landblock (this is the tough part of the exploit)

Setup
1) Tie to an area (landblock) that is likely to crash. (Aphus Lassel is a good example)
2) Have items you want to Dupe on your character.

Steps
1) Recall to your house.
2) Log Off (this saves your character)
3) Log back on
4) Put the items you want to dupe in your chest
5) Recalled to the crashed/likely to crash landblock
6) If you start to lag like hell, this is a good thing. See below.


Outcome A: You do not lag, you portal in fine.
Resolution: Repeat Steps 1-6 Possibly try different landblocks.

Outcome B: You experience lag to the point you actually timeout.
Upon attempting to log back in you will get the message saying a character is already in the world. Give it between 15-30 Minutes and you can again try to log on, you should be fine at this point. When you get logged back on, you "SHOULD" be at your house. You will have the items on your player, because you saved that way. The items will "AS WELL" be in your chest.

we need some coords of laggy landblocks or ways to make computer lag so this can be used, finding a landblock that will redline can be a pain

Well here are some i think work work fine.

-aphus is always good.
-caul i would think to work fine (havent checked after this patch).
-fire atlan stone dungeon.
-acid atlan stone dungeon.
-harbringer soll upgrade dungeon.

Can some one explain in lame terms what is laggy landblock ?

seems to work about 1 out of 20 times, is there anyway we can create the lag on the server to get this to work better? Finding the amount of lag needed is kind of a pain and makes it unpractical unless their is something im missing

It would seem that the devs have patched over most of the good exploits for AC. looks like their is no way to get loads of plats or high levels without macroing

Well turbine generally slips on a banana peel every 6-8 months and makes a huge exploit, like the pyreal pea or the platinum scarab, list goes on lol. They do have alot going into this patch with the ally xp changes and the darktide rollback rewards, im sure we can find something they screwed up

Can you dupe armor and weapons? Also is it wise to?

well ive only tried it with plats and diamond powder but it should work with armor and weapons as well, ill see if it works with gsc/tinked armor/ and some AR swords :p

Ya.. i read a VN boards post of a guy asking for a easyer way to make the landblock crash, this is a hard one to pull off lol

I for one cant seem to get the landblocks to crash.

its possible to do but very very hard =/
