Darkfall Hacks - Darkfall Alerts : DFO - Bots / Macros / Hacks

I'm still here, working on a recode of the tools. I have no intention of posting the source, but if you're worried simply don't use it.

I just deleted DFAlert, changed my DF account password and restored my Windows cuz Zone Alarm detected that DFAlert trying to connecting to 0x33.org or some server after a few hour of use. It's scary... GL to you all.

Please post a screen, or at least the IP. You're also aware it's a dll, not a process, so it runs from inside darkfall.exe? Darkfall connects to a webserver for anything journal related, that may be what you saw. Post the IP so others here can check it.

I already restored my windows and lost the zone alarm log but I think the ip started with 208 or something

I don't know how zone alarm could detect that "dfalert" was connecting to something given that dfalert runs within the darkfall process....

This program is Excelent. i dont know why would anyone would request more hints on finding chests since this program makes it deceptivly simple.

The software works really nice. If you spend more than a few minutes on their forum you will see that the whole crew over there seem pretty cool "as far as the more long term users.

They're obviously keeping tabs on the people using this tool, whether this is for a malignant reason or not remains to be seen, but seeing as how he refuses to release the source code and doesn't admit having any affiliation with 0x33.org i'm going to assume it's for a malignant reason.

My suggestion is to rid your system of this program ASAP and change your account info. Also clockwork should be on a short leash when he releases an exe with no source code.

It's good to be careful. Meanwhile here's my side of the argument:

a. I don't think its unreasonable to withhold source code on a small project like this. Too often I've seen source released just to have it recompiled and re-released under a different name or with a keylogger.

b. "Program makes a connection to a well known gamehacker forum server". The program makes no connections. Please grab a program like Wireshark and watch for yourself, or check the DLL, and get some proof before claiming otherwise.

c. I'm not sure where what the statement 'doesn't admit having any affiliation with 0x33.org' comes from. The program clearly contains the URL of my site. Other than that, I avoid posting my URL or otherwise advertising because I'm on someone else's boards (it's called respect).

If someone wants to be cautious and not use my software, it won't break my heart. Most of this stuff is made for fun or my own use. I released it simply because I enjoy this game and saw a lack of free releases for it.

I've been using this since it was posted, and i have not had any problems. As far as I can tell its all good.

I have also have used it and never had one problem. I like the program to be honest . its clean small and works good.

im sorry but zone alert doesnt set off a red flag because code has a link in it, it does it when code connects to a remote server for one reason or another. Feel free to use it, i'm not saying it WILL have any negative effect, however it could EASILY have a latent danger that may or may not surface in the future. I prefer not to take that chance as the whole thing seems a bit fishy, and rests on whether or not you trust someone you've never met.

This is only reinforced by the fact that clockwork does not explain the reason that this exe file is making a remote connection, and instead denies and diverts attention. do what you want, i'm staying away. I'd rather not be part of his DOS botnet

I am pretty sure I know a couple long term members of this 0x33 site and I can tell you I trust and respect them. While the software is devious I am pretty sure its clean.
I am also no software guru but couldn't someone just tear apart the code?
