Down Loaded program fine . Added 32 and 64 bits

downloaded comdlg32.ocx placed it into windows32 folder

clicked run and typed in what was needed
At this point both monitors went blank for like 20 sec then it was like the system rebooted but didnt shut down.

When I run the program I still get the Run-time error 339

If I try and press start then the run with code I get

The module c:\windows\system32\mscomctl.ocx FAILED to load message

Using Vista

Any help would be assume

Sometime when you uninstall some software, this dll is unregister.

so you should find the dll on : C:\Windows\System32\mscomctl.ocx

if you find the file try this :
Log in with administrator credentials

Select 'Start > Run', copy & paste (including the quotation marks):

regsvr32 "C:\Windows\System32\mscomctl.ocx"

Click OK, wait for confirmation popup

If you don't find the file you need to download this :
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=25437d98-51d0-41c1-bb14-64662f5f62fe&displaylang=en

ok not sure what exactly I was to be looking for. )

comdlg32.dll and comdlg32.ocx
I do see these two file listed.
I then went to the site you linked and did the update.

I saw no notisible changes.

I then tried
regsvr32 "C:\Windows\System32\mscomctl.ocx" at run again

Got the same message telling me the file failed to load
