Why must you turn this forum into a house of lies?

Why should my pt in the same area suffer an exp chain loss because you didn't have reraise items, spell, or someone else capable of casting the spell? Was this pt right beside you, or on the other side of the zone past the one way drop?

A party that level cannot eseal sleep greater birds. I've tried it. BLM, RDM, maxed out enfeebling magic merits.. It doesn't matter.

Hell, I'm reasonably sure you can't do it at 75 either. They're !@#$%^&* annoying while camping aspid.

i think that they should raise you, but you shouldnt be mad at them if they dont, its not their duty to babysit every other party in the area, its a favor, so dont get angry if they dont raise you, but be happy if they do

Do not will not and should not raise anyone that is not in your party or alliance.

Short and sweet. If I can I will, If I want to I will. Otherwise deal with it.

Your WHM down. After and only after my partys says ok or we have down time you will get a raise. Non-WHM party - tough sh**.

How that pty should have a white not knowing if their are whites available or why they had no white. Basically kicking him while he was down. That is all the post is about.

Holy !@#$%^&* is it really that hard of a concept to understand.

YOU as a white if you agree to Raise do it and then go back to what you where doing.

If I dont want to raise I simple NO will do.

AT no TIME did anyone say you have to raise every single person out in the game.

But if asked and you agree just Raise them you dont have to complain to them about things that they dont care about.

Hopefully this will clear up the confusion of the last few replies. Which make no sense since the topic is not about what they are talking about.

Some notably egoistic white mages in this thread. I'm glad I haven't met you and if I did I would avoid you.

It's one thing not wanting to run 4 zones to do a raise 3 on a level 17 in valkurm.
It's quite another thing to not raise the only raiser in another party right next to you in like cape terrigan.

Stuff like that comes back to bite you in the !@#$%^&*, maybe you should try playing the other side some time and lose those "My job is above your problems" tendencies.

Some complain about how I flame n00bies, well even I the horrible asl18fs would jot you down on the "!@#$%^&* to make life a misery for" list if I met someone so egoistic like you in game.

I've made a lot of in game friends from raising in exotic places while I'm running through, even if it's just a raise 1 it's better than homepointing.

I wish more people out their where willing to help. It makes the game so much better and easier to play.

I have never regreted raising anyone. I have even died trying to help others and those have ended up being some of the Best Friends I have in the game.

I have a LVL 75 Friend that sacrificed himself for me at the time i was 55. It's one of those moments in the game that you see what other people are willing to do. Which make the game worth playing.

Too Bad allot of people will never experience moments like that in the game. Since they are to selfish and not willing to help others in need.

I should have quoted who I was replying to. Yes I did ready the entire thread but my comment was directed to the post above mine and to the OP my bad for forgetting the quotes. But my statement still applies no where does it say you “have” to do anything even after agreeing to it. Was it right no, karma is a bieoch the WHM will get his in the end.

Umm kind of OT but it was to show a point that when you do something good. People will see it and are usually very grateful. If you help a pty in need they usually will remeber you because of good reasons and they usually tell others. Same if you do something bad people will know you for that too.

How this and the my story about the lvl 75 relate to topic. Simple if you are kind you get kindness in return. If you are a Snob and stuck up you have threads made after you. Getting more and more people annoyed and pissed off.

The topic is ok since their are more than one Snobby high leveled White's out thier so it applies.

He didnt say ALL Whites are snobby but then thier are allot of High levels that are snobby not just whites but that is OT .

No one has ever said you have to raise. It's just the remark that White said after agreeing to raise was uncalled for.

Also like u said lets say you agree and something comes up.

I do have to state that High Lvls of all Jobs in Ifrit are very nice. I have not seen a High lvl White being Snobby yet. Come to think of it most Lvl 75 in my experience are very nice and helpful.

LOL. This reminds me of the time i was doing rank 5 in Castle O. I was a low to mid BLM useing potions an oils to get it done. i got right to door and droped invs to open bam dead. asked LS but at the time it was a n00bish ls no one could help. so i waited stareing at door hopeing a pty with a whm comes by. then I see a duo comeing through and see one cast stoneskin so i figured must be whm. I send tell {please} {rasie} blah blah blah. Tell back JP stuff then {raise} 20000 G I L. /sigh i said ok to just be done with mision. wrote name down though. recently i saw the f-er in Ro'Maeve. I cast Pro4 on myself so he knew i was whm. I get the tell {raise}?. LMAO I send back 20000G I L {castle oztroja}. he tells back the large ><. so i raise him and didnt accept the trade for gil. Anytime i see him i get a crapload of buffs or salutes or whatever he can do. point of story is dont be a cockend if you can help do it. who knows the person you help could be the one saveing your !@#$%^&* from a bad link or whatever.

I am a levl 60 WHM on Lakshmi server... I will say I agree with about everyone here in one way or another... Sometimes you have to make do WITHOUT a WHM in the PT, (I am also a level 44 PLD). I remember many parties where I had to settle for a SMN or RDM healer because a WHM was not available. When one is in the immediate area though... why not give a raise II or III, it only cost MP and a little time. It is called a little bit of good ole fashioned common courtesy.

everyone here has forgotten one important thing... This is just a FKN game!!! The important part is to have fun, if you are not then you have lost the point of even playing. This type of bickering and arguing is pointless. Keep in mind the only good experience from this is you know what WHM you can not trust now. But remember you can PT with me cause I kick azz!!

Exping in Boyahda Tree as BST one of those things that makes us love this game happened to me:

While fighting a goobbue in trio party Reraise wears off, partner has to release pet coz it was badly injured, then Protect wears off and a second before I hit WS macro to finish off mob food wears off. Partners both 97 TP... Goobue hits me, then uses beatdown then hits me again... BST toast.

There were three exp parties there with WHM, ask politely for raise after current chain, two refuse (too busy exping, fair enough), third gives me a patronizing speech about the benefits of using reraise items and how unconvenient and embarrassing is to harass poor WHMs that have a hard time lvling the job and paying outrageous amounts of gil for their raise II scroll and bla bla bla and refuses... fair enough as well.

Couple of weeks later I'm doing wyverns for opo-opo crown quest item, one of those WHMs is on party for zilart mission, they have a bad encounter with our friends and neighbours the bombs (how many times in how many forums is being posted "even WHMs, please, use oils and powders in ifrit's... don't cast... is bad for your health)
They call for help... I'm sorry, too busy killing wyverns. They die and ask for raise, I'm sorry, too busy killing wyverns.

A month or so later I'm in Den of Rancor doing a coffer run and having some fun and... the cheesy patronizing WHM is in party for Hakutaku run.
Halfway across, this time thanks to some members of the party relying of mages to sneak/invis them (oils and powders are too expensive, is better to compromise the full party's safety and blame the mages if something goes wrong) they screw it up... some slimes with the help of a few tonberries wipe them out. WHM asks for raise to raise rest of the party... sorry, too busy doing coffer run and charming the slimes that wiped out your party. You should have casted reraise on yourself. Tough. Bugger ye' off.

Under normal circumstancies I don't refuse to help, usually helping a party in trouble is part of the fun ^^ But if you happen to party with the wrong people... well, bad luck... there's plenty of that in this game
