I was wondering if anyone might be able to tell me why I get random stopage. Usally it is on the last step of crafting. I have checked the ignore complications on last step.. but there isnt always a complication when it stops. It also will stop sometimes after trying to get workorders from NPC. For the NPC i can only suspect that i may have the work order restrictions set so that the bot doesnt find any valid workorders and stops. Is this how it is inteded to work?
Whenit stops at the table if i manually click the finishing step it takes off again. Any sugestions?

The bot will stop if it cannot get any more work orders that meet the criteria you specify. Having it alternate between finishing and refining work orders usually keeps some available, although if you restrict to one difficulty level and type (set, batch and single), it can still run out. If you are trying to do just batches and this is happening, have it do singles as well. They don't take much time to make and you'll get faction that much faster.

For your other problem, I'd need to see a log file after it's happened. Set your debug level to 9 and run it until it hangs. Copy the last few hundred lines or so of the log (found in your \log directory) and zip in a text file to PM me. Better yet, if the entire log file zips to a manageable size, PM it.

That I cannot answer. Whatever bug has been getting the service to cease functioning on many machines, including my own, has not been addressed to my knowledge. Only wyvernx can do anything about it since it's his service.

On a side note, I have not had a chance to work an offset patch in, but if this is behaving differently than the usual patch stuff, you may now be affected by aforementioned bug as well.

Well, that certainly doesnt sound good. Considering that ACB is the only working program for VG, im hoping wyvernx can correct this very soon. After reading back a page or two, my problems echo exactly what you were talking about with another customer. I will pm wyvernx about this, and see what happens.

just fyi, for some people this is happening after they have an os failure and rebuild their systems... it will no longer work.

I have a feeling some library update in a windows patch is causing it.

Hmm, you may have hit on something. Although I have done nothing to my system directly, I did update windows this Friday night. I dont allow my computer to do automatic updates, and it had been months since I last updated. 3 hours before the windows update, the bot fired up ( save for the offsets) . Aftter the update, no worky.

This may explain why I was allowed to continue to use the bot while others had problems. My procrastination actually worked in my favor this time ;)

Of course, now the hard part. Getting it fixed.

I'll rebuild my VGService and if it is a updated dll, hopefully it will get repacked with the rebuild.

What functions specifically do I need to check?

There are quite a few...

It crashes as soon as you attempt to instantiate the MMOViper.Vanguard() class. You don't even get a login dialog.

Remember this was written referencing the newer VGExtremeService, not the old VGService.exe.

Since my machine was affected as well, if you wish you can rebuild it and PM me the new files and I can package it and post it here after testing. Granted, I have to use a trial account, but need to fix my offsets anyway.
