I have not tested on vista, but you do not need to click the find wow button. It will automatically find the bobber now. The find button does not do anything.

Also on vista, you can try a couple of things. 1. RUn as administrator. If that doesnt work, run as administrator AND with winxpsp2 compatibility.

To run, load up WOW, then start wow bobber.. it should automatically find the bobber and color it.

But again, I have not tested on vista, so do not what settings/tweaks may be needed, but the above might help.

No, you do not need exhume running.

This is stand alone.

Just load up wow, and then run this. Bobber instantly turns pink.

Still can't get this to run. It pops up a window that says error locating wow window and I hit ok and program opens, but then it doesn't do anything. Any tips? Would love to get this working, oh, also tried on laptop and desktop same results, so it is not just the one pc. Thanks

I can test it again, but last time I checked it was working with 2.3 burning crusade expansion running winxp sp2.

I just tested it again, and it didnt give me that message about not finding the wow window. Be sure to download the latest version to a CLEAN folder.

Run the runme.exe. Enter something like "fraps"
then run fraps.exe.

There is a bug I found that will slow down your framerate, And i'll put out a patch to fix that.

i am running a desktop and laptop with 2.3 burning crusade expansion running winxp sp2, installed to a new folder, not in world of warcraft folder and still getting unable to find wow window, still does not color bobber. Does it matter what resolution, window mode or not I am running? Thanks for all the help.

no it doesnt matter resolution.

Check the log file that is created in the folder. It might help figgure out why it is not finding the wow window.

Are you on a EURO version of wow?

I'm also getting the same error.

ERROR loading the WOW window

01/24/08 05:28:10 PM WOWLoader::Destroy
01/24/08 05:28:10 PM ERROR wile trying to unload

I'm using Wow 2.3.3.7799, US server, Windows XP professional. If you need any screenshots, logs, or debuggers ran for you, I'll be more than happy to help.

I'm guessing I must have something on my system that does not come with winxp by default. I'm looking into it.

i made a new folder on my desktop and extracted the files inside of that folder, now i began having trouble opening Exhume at first but it solved when i downloaded a Script Debugger. Anyhow, I get a "Error Loading the WoW Window" error which annoys me press okay and then CLOSE the program ( The bobber is still normal color btw ) and i get another error saying : Run-time error '429': ActiveX Component can't create object
And yes i got the Latest DirectX 9c Version. Got Windows XP with SP2. Running on a Euro server anyhow, might this be a problem? it shouldnt be a problem though...

Well Thanks in Advance, Looking forward for your answer!
