Suspension for using Unleashed : DAOC Discussion

Both my roommate and I run it. I got the slap on the wrist email. He did not. So they are not suspending everyone. The strange thing is I was only logged in for about 2 hours running it and didn't go RvR.

If he is using your account to log in..that would explain it.

i havent been able to get it working at all, i must be missing a small step or something. i'm not a programmer so my knowledge on how this works is limited, but after taking it thru the auto updates i'll not only get a few error messages after i put in the pw for the registration key, but when i load up i get the 'give wyvernx time to update' message in game. could i get a pm on how to get this working please.

Be SURE that you close the map before you exit the game.

Wyvernx, do you have any statistics for DAOC Unleashed? Server statistics and such. Sanya said there are not nearly as much cheaters as "we" think. I think she is wrong, especially with those other programs out there.

How many people are using it?
What realm cheats the most?
What server cheats the most?

Crashing is bad. They get a copy of the crash log when you crash.

They can see what dll caused the crash.

You are talking about error.log right? or is there other info sent to mythic when the game crashes?

I really don't care why you all cheat. Some claim "because everyone does", well I don't. Or "so the cheaters don't get the upper hand", so what Mythic will deal with them. I have been ganked by cheaters many times and have felt the same, but you become as sorry as they are when you cheat.
cheating ruins the game for everyone, except the cheaters. What do they do when they are the victim? Moan, groan, gripe, !@#$%^*, complain. Then they feel they need to cheat even more because they know they have no real skills. Any who tell you that they do by claiming thier RP count went up the night before, are probably liars since they have no real way of proving it. Although it could very well be true, my count would go up too if I joined a group and went afk.
My actual point (and yes I have one) is if you are cheating and you know it's wrong, stop it. Mythic will eventually ban the cheaters, it may take time but it will come. Don't stoop to their level, you are better than that.
Cheaters.......your time will come. When you get caught cheating and get the life time ban (losing all your toons and their items/money) you have been warned. Flame me if you want Cheaters, you have no skills so why would anything you say bother me. None of you are worth my anger. You are all sorry, nonskilled, underachievers anyway.

Thats why the people who dont cheat get pissed. you arent "winning" because you are skilled at playing your character, you are winning because you CHEAT. Well pagan, if you had actually read my post, you would have noticed it was focused at the individuals that (even though they know its wrong) cheat because "everyone else does" and not at cheaters such as yourself (because you lack real skill). There is no hope for you, but there may be hope for them.

QQ to your mamma pagan, when Mythic bans your cheating !@#$%^*, you'll be doing lots of it.
