Try Alt+Tab to the radar screen. Does it show anything?

Feature request: Add a check box to play an alert sound when the name in the search box spawns.

Update Posted: VGExtremeRadar 1.4

Added features:
1) Settings for each character saves to VGExtremeRadar.ini
2) Settings dialog added
3) Custom color selection
4) Alert sound for the first instance of a search match, resets once the match is no longer on screen

Anyone interested in having the radar display POIs, waypoints and headings? It would be easy to add, but we would need a database of coordinates.

Well, I forgot the Chunk functions weren't working right. So we will have to put the PIOs and waypoints on hold until it gets updated.

Yeah I noticed that this morning.. It only happens if a resource is in view when you start the radar.

New version posted, VGExtremeRadar 1.5

Added POIs, just download the POI database from Register to unlock hidden link and put it in your XUM folder. Click the POI on screen and a popup window will show the description.

WyvernX, I had to use a few offsets to grab the Chunks, didn't know if you needed those for your service. They look like static data locations, not pointers...so I woldn't be surprised if it doesn't work elsewhere.

VGExtremeRadar v1.51 uploaded!

Minor update: Cleaned up the settings GUI.

Any feedback on v1.5x? Just wanted to make sure I did not introduce new bugs. Has anyone set up the POI feature?

I wanted to try it but noticed that the single txt file for the custompoi on the map site is no longer there. I could only find the link to the ones for each zone... I have no idea why they removed the one with all the points combined.

Updated the VGExtremeRadar, I put in a quick fix for POI downloads.

By default POIs are off, but if you enable POIs and then restart the radar it will download all the individual POI files. For now, it will do this each time you restart.

I can no longer move the radar onto my other monitor then go into full screen mode on my full monitor. In the GUI I can't see the checkbox to Unlock the window so it can be moved, I tried setting it manualy in the Radar file but it don't work.

Ok, just tried it...

Locked is now called borderless in the settings GUI. Set your AutoAlign to 0 and set your Borderless to false and you should be able to move it to the second monitor.

I have a nice update coming tomorrow that will let you convert your entire app to a full c# project if you wish. Basically releaseign a wrapper.dll that will let you create your own c# project (or any .net project) and connect to the vgextreme service. Supports the current implementation. Want to finish crafting next and add events!
