VG Advanced Crafting Bot v2.0 : VGExtreme Programs

Vista 32 should be fine, but I don't think this vgextremeservice will run under any 64 bit platform.

This is emphasized by your getting the splash screen but not getting the authentication window. It is probably crashing when it tries to execute a function in the service.

Version 1.x is no longer supported by me, although it may still work if you hardcode in values where I read offsets.

I'd consider a dual-boot setup (or an installation on a second machine) if you wish to use a craft bot.

First time i have used this and its working almost flawlessly atm. One thing i am wondering about is the setting for ignoring complications on the finishing step does not seem to be working and when i get one the bot just stops crafting. it was working fine last night but today i can't seem to get more that 10-20 recipes done before it stops. And by it stops i mean it still says its running but it doesn't do any thing.

First suggestion is to simply change the setting for comps on last step if it allows the bot to continue.

Second, I will need more info to properly diagnose. Go into the general settings and set debug level to 9. Exit setup, restart the bot, then run it until it hangs. Let it go a short period of time longer, then close the bot. Zip the latest log file (found in the Log subdirectory where you have the .exe) and PM it to me. (do not post it on the forum as the log may contain information identifying your character) When I get a chance, I'll try and figure out what's happening.

1) are you using regular xp or x64 edition?

2) did you also download the updated AdvancedCraftingBot.zip and overwrite the one packaged with vgextremeservice?

3) what are the details of the crash message?

I start the program advancedcraftingbot.exe file date 12/18/2008.
The splash screen and login screen appear. Type in username herbi369 and password. Password screen disappears and then the splash screen disappears.

1) are you using regular xp or x64 edition? Regular XP.

2) did you also download the updated AdvancedCraftingBot.zip and overwrite the one packaged with vgextremeservice?

Yes.

3) what are the details of the crash message?

No crash message at all.

Thanks for the quick reply

In the directory where you put the bot, there should be a subdirectory Settings. Go in there, and PM to me the four files (if they exist). Also, there should be a Log directory. PM to me the most recent log file (if it exists)

Beergeek, apparently something is meesed up with tailoring, specifically with vielthread bags. I tried making a few yesterday, and it would not even come close to completion. This was never the case prior. From what I can tell, it seems to be using an inefficient choice during the "pattern" step.

I tried making items on my leatherworker, and all seemed well there. Just my tailor has problems.

Thanks

sounds like an offset problem. set debug level to 9, run the bot through a bag pass, zip and pm me the log
