Response from Square Enix:

Recently the FINAL FANTASY XI community on Allakhazam has been discussing an untrue rumor. We would like to put that rumor to rest by stating that there has been no change in the PlayOnline software that would allow it to report on a user's active programs, or cause it to send the data back to Square Enix. We want to make this official announcement so that our members will not be alarmed or confused by a rumor that has no basis in fact.

Not to mention, that reading packets being sent from person's computer is very ilegal.

One of those was done in Vista, the other in XP... it could be kernel differences between the too. When I get some time tomorrow I'll update my FFXI in Vista, install Process Guard, and then try running it with the Windower to see if I can confirm.

Ok I know that craftmon is comming with making the software completly undetectable by mem scanning like that. Can it be possible to do it with Xunleashed softwares? Im a bit worried ...

ahhh but the thing is they HAVE to notify you 1 month in advance that there will be a change. when SOE does a change they e-mail you saying there will be a change, and SE from as far as i know did not do that so you can technically get them into fun legal trouble

doesnt matter if it is young gamers or not, you have to do it by the law. SE is not above the law no matter how much they think.
