I just ran the 1.0 version as I already had it on my machine and thought I would try it out to see if it was of use to me before updating to the 2.0... all I can say is WOW, its been a long time since anything has blown me away like this, the set up is just unreal, yes there is a lot of work to put in the expressions for each card etc and all the little bits but thats expected. The fact that you actually program each hotkey and its so idiot proof to have the pop ups for each section.

Good work and I wish you all the best with this project, I will be updating to 2.0 so I can just work on getting the diplo papers I require for the GH guarantee Im after. My deck I admit isnt set up like the way you suggested but it is working well enough so far, I have 5 free cards and the ones that I need to pay a cost on are mainly heroic ones so all in all its an overkill for grinding lower lvl mobs, but I would assume that this would grind out schematics just as easily... I will post a SS of me deck within the week after I have ran it a few more times to make sure it works flawlessly on each tier. Reason I say I will post a pic is that every single one of my cards can be easily crafted or found on a broker so newcomers to diplomacy can have a little heads up on what I believe to be a good deck of cards.

Just updated to the 2.0 and I found something really strange happen, chances are its me being half asleep.

I deleted the old files and unzipped the new ones to the correct locations, did the initial setup again and tried to run it in normal mode, it initiated the parley np, then immediatly it cancelled it saying that opponant 1 had no expression to play or something like that, each time it moved to another NPC I got the same error message. The strange thing is in test mode it worked fine, I ran it there before normal to test my mouse locs were correct. So if in normal mode it starts a parley and in test mode it actions the parley I wonder what the problem is.

Uninstalled it and tried again with the same problem, so it seems that for some strange reason it wont play your first card in normal mode, if you want me to send a log of something let me know. For the time being I have reverted back to 1.0

I'm glad you like the bot val. I wanted the setup to be as effortless as possible.

In 2.0 the bot now looks at the parley types in the window so you can specify what types of parleys you would like to do. (thank beergeek for his help on the function) :)
It checks pixels based on the location of the civic diplomacy button.
If it can't determine the parleytype it will move to the next npc.
I think your problem is due to your mouse coordinates.
Make sure your all of the parley types are set to True in DBSettings.
Then run mouse coordinate setup again and make sure you put your mouse directly over the center of the Inkwell when you get the coordinate.

If you are still having problems, let me know.
When I get the chance I'm going to add some code that will allow users to do all parleys (so they can ignore the parley check if they are having problems like yours)

wow very odd, I got it working today without doing anything different as far as I know... All I can assume is that I had some of the conversation types as FALSE when I did my original coordinates. It seems to be working fine again and this means I can set it up to do just convince like I was hoping for (need 61 more Evidence of Arcana for my GH papers so you can imagine how long that will take  )

TY for the good work and the support, I will be posting my deck in a few mins for you as requested.

I know this isnt laid out like you said exactly so if you can advise on a few changes I would be happy, but in its current state I have ran over 1000 parleys with 0 losses (although in fairness I was lvl 50 doing T1-5)

Out of curiosity if I commented how do I disable the tell thingy. I have set all to false in the settings but still its causing issues. I got a tell from "Player_X" and the script shut down, so I added them to the friends list and ran it again, after 1 parley it did the same thing saying that I recieved a tell from them when I hadnt.

Code: Register to unlock hidden link

You just got a tell from Player_X
Error: Line: 315, Char:20 ::Type mismatch: 'UBound'
Error: Line: 315, Char:20 ::Type mismatch: 'UBound'
Failed to Run Script
End Script
Thats the message I get each time, its something I cannot work out and the only way I could cure it was to camp out and log back in again otherwise it would keep saying that after each parley. When I ran 1.0 yesterday before I updated I was able to have the .wav file ring when I got a tell, have time to reply and then it continued with its job.

I think the tell protection you have is a great idea but Im normally working next to my machine so keep one eye on it. I have to admit though the .wav file made it easier to notice when I had tells so if you have any suggestions on what could have been different today compaired to yesterday I would greatly appreciate it :D

Sorry for spam posting but its my day off and have nothing really better to do other than play with you script hehe.

I just had an idea what the problem may be. Unfortunatly I havent got the original 1.0 files anymore, but do you think its possible that you missed a line of code somewhere to clear the logs after each parley as the only way I got to solve the above issue was to log out and delete the info in my VGLogDump.

Like I said Im not really sure its only a guess right now and the person in question is actually added to the friends list yet its still giving me the problem. Thankfully he understood when I said ok afk a while and didnt spam me again

Just got 2.0 up and running... working nicely. Haven't had any hitch with the pixel analysis yet. Not sure about valmir's problem yet, I haven't received any tells since running it. I'll look into it when I get a chance unless you beat me to it.

I put in some offset requests with wyvernx. Included in the list is a request for strategy card data, which would eliminate the need to have the user enter his card data in settings or change them when cards are swapped out. Further, logic could then be added where it is no longer necessary to place the cards in priority order to be played. Beyond that, maybe even more intelligent card selection, such as not playing a repeal that gives reason during a gossip parley, playing charming distraction if there is a great imbalance in expression, etc.

Aye I have it running great too other than the issue of the tells, for some reason I cannot get the ring upon tell to work, everything else is set to false but each time I get a tell, no sound and no script.

Error is always that on the line refering to Type mismatch: 'UBound' which I refered too. Shame as last night it was working great but for some reason because its not doing as requested its a little frusterating to have to keep clearing out logdumb and starting again each tell I get, especially as on my server I get spammed a lot with questions regarding my class and guild.

Confirm that I'm getting the error, too. I have commented out the tell code as a quick fix but will post a better fix once I get a chance (right now just letting the bot run while I do some rl work)

found the problem. simple mistake, very easy fix.

Go to dbinclude.vbs, scroll down to Sub TellCheck()

in there, find the line:

Code: Register to unlock hidden link

                    for a = 0 to ubound(goodPlayer)
and change it to:

Code: Register to unlock hidden link

                    for a = 0 to ubound(SafePlayer)
the script will still check for a tell even if you have all the tell options set to FALSE and put a note in the log. If you wish it to bypass the tell check altogether, do the following:

In "diplomacybot 2.0.vbs" under Sub StartTalking() about halfway through, replace the line:

Code: Register to unlock hidden link

            TellCheck
with:

Code: Register to unlock hidden link

if PlaySoundOnTell OR CampOnTell OR QuitOnTell then
            TellCheck
        end if

Just ran the hotfix that you posted (both of them) and still not working as intended but working well enough. I now have half of the server on my allowed list lol so yay no more errors, but for some reason upon a tell thats not on my list, rather than play the sound like selected it just gives me another error message. As you know normally I would post the exact info for you but like a moron I just hit reset and added the person to the list.

The top row looks good, although I would make the following changes on the bottom row.
Take out the following: "Ogrish Overture", "Snippet of Wisdom" and "Charming Distraction"
Add the following: Fungal Footnote, Gremlin Greed, and an Evaluation to replace "Charming Distraction"

Then put them in this order:
"Fungal Footnote", "Abnegation of X", "Gremlin Greed", "Bitter Truths", then put your Evaluations.

Always remember to put your cards in this order: Assertions(high to low) - Repeals(high to low) - Comments - Evaluations

Other than that, it looks like a very nice deck. Besides, you can't argue with 100% success in 1000+ runs.
