Using the DFOMate app, you can teleport directly to chests, etc.

In the next version, I want to have a pre-defined list of chest locations through the world.

Feel free to submit any chest locations here using the position as shows in the DFOMat app.

I would save your time mate. I too thought this would be a good idea, in reality it doesnt work though. For anyone who doesnt have the patience to read for 1 minute your welcome to spend several hours trying it for yourself before comming to the same conclusion I did.

Each chest is one of 4 types:
- Treasure Chest containing 10 gold
- Resource stash containing 2-4 golds worth of herbs
- Magicians Box containing 5-10 golds worth of spell reagents (usually 2-3 sulpher)
- Tool box containing 1-2 tools (e.g pick axe, hammer, axe etc)

Now if you could instantly teleport to each chest and immediatly open it, loot and teleport to the next you could earn around 300 gold in an hour (for comparison you can easily make the same amount killing goblins in the starter area). However, you cant even do that!

Most peoples darkfall will crash after 2-3 teleports, this is due to the way the game handles texture rendering (its absolutly appaling). Im fortunate, my darkfall only crashes every 5-8 teleports.

Secondly when you teleport some chests appear straight away however most take anywhere from 10-30 seconds to be drawn - until they are drawn on screen you cant open them.

So, im sitting here with a list of over 100 chests which I can teleport to... yet if I want gold its quicker to kill goblins in the starter area....

I have gotten 8000gp out of a chest that took a veleron key. Sounds worth it if you have the keys.

Once I have the tab to load/save waypoints, all posts that people make will show up in that window.

Does anybody know the respawn timer on these chests?

is there something special about map coords? I've plugged a bunch in and I keep getting ERROR: BAD X VALUE!

You can find a lot of chest cords on http://www.dfatlas.com/map.aspx
Just expand the right menu and it will give you a nice view of all the chests /item racks / etc.. and their locs.

Its a good starting point at least.

@blackyce, dfomate uses different locs than that source.

And I dont have a converter right now, which is why I am asking for chest locations based on the dfomate displayed location.

My problem was I was entering the decimal number when I shouldn't have been. Got it working fine now.

Here are two Tool Box locations.

Im sure Wyvern is talking about the Neithal and velron chests mostly guys, not the tool, weapon, armor, magician, and treasure chests.

I would like to add that !@#$%^&* already have this implemented into their teleporter, and from what I hear GM's are known to on occasion watch chest locations for ppl teleporting to them.

I have not been to the chests with my dfomate, but when i do, I will put in some xyz's for you.

Actually, any chests that peopel post, and confirm I'll add it to the next version, I should have out tomorrow (sorry busy in RL, wanted it out this past weekend)
