i manuallied installed ffxiservice i dont know why i couldnt just run install... but i try to run it in the ffxi and i move my mouse to the bottom and click macros, scrips, triggers, ehume scrips, and everything on the tab and its not in there ... how can i run it? >< i am having so much trouble lol

I included the tbl file. Try installing manually if the auto installer fails.
Ie let it patch, then click manual install and select the ffxiservice.dll

some questions about stand alones-
how will it function? will it be sort of like FFACT except for all programming languages? DLL or exe? I guess im just curious.
I can read memory in c++, but this would save me a lot of time.

The stand alone will be XUM compatible. It is a scripting engine that can script in VBScript, JavaScript, PerlScript, LuaScript, etc.
The XU guys are working on a library that I can plugin so that it will also work as a COM DLL with a XUnleashed Subscription check. Ie so you can just plug it into your own apps. It will function after it does a self register on the XU site to confirm premium membership. That way, you would be able to use whatever language you wanted and I would be sure it is only for premium members.

Anyway, I added Stealing items to the DB website. Please help me fill all the blanks in. Run the FFXIService while you steal from various mobs.

I am having the same error msg
ERROR: CANNOT FIND THE .TLB FILE. pLACE IT IN THE SAME DIRECTORY AS THE DLL
Without directing me to a page someone in here where I get all confused can you please just post what to do here. thanks

yeah, thats pretty rediculous. please read the topic before asking questions.
Stand alones sound pretty great, exactly what I was hoping for. Will it just be for reading memory, or will there be an option to write to memory also?

The first standalon will be in XUM. So yea it will support by default reading/writing. I mean you can open XUM now and read/write memory via the API's.
