This is somewhat like babykiller's but maybe a lil more explaination.
Firstly you'll need atleast a lvl 20 char. You'll need to go and create a guild. After creating the guild you'll need to find some members, either ask in peer chat if anyone wants to join a new guild or send guild requests to begginers as most will be gladly to accept a guild invite at such a low level. As you get members encourage them to participate in the free league and do guild quests to help with the guild (note: participating in the FL will give the guild 1 or 3 points depending on lose or win). Now you can start guild crafting (I recommend to have a decent lvl in any craft before doing this), either you can sit around and do nothing or do FL or quests/grinding while your members craft your items for you.
As your guild points and guild lvl increases recruit more members and DO NOT trade in any points just yet. Wait till you have atleast 1k GP and bid on a town, as a town will help you out with gaining gp. Once you have aquired a town keep encouraging your members to do town/guild quests and participate in FL and now getting wandering npcs to move to your town.
By this time im sure some of your members will have a craft that they are working on. Ask those members if they would like to become a guild officer and get them to use the guild crafting and help with recruiting.
Now just sit back and keep participating in that FL so you can get coins or shards and sell them later. You'll be generating GP with no problem now and be able to trade them in for items to sell.
Continue to recruit untill you have a full guild. Your guild fund might go up aswell with members donating and you can take from guild fund at anytime you like.
And if you really want to get into the guild position you can later on create a nation which will cost you alot of gp to start and invite other guilds to join which in turn will also help your members and get them to stay.
