If you really want to make a nice sum of gold you should go exploring. Avoid the nasty high level enemies, which isn’t very hard to do, and roam the world. It is rather exciting, seeing the world of Atlantica. The graphics are pretty so you can enjoy the eye candy as you run around. Once you’ve visited many cities in different sections of the map you should buy at least one Ornate Treasure Map. These are a risk, and can cost 15,000 or more. Once you right click on the map you’ll be notified a Treasure Chest will appear in 5 minutes. Open your map, locate the Treasure Chest. Teleport to the nearest city (this is why you went exploring, so you can teleport to various cities) and then quickly run to the chest from that city. Once it appears, you have 1 minute to ‘attack’ it before it vanishes. If it vanishes, you get nothing and just lost 15,000. After a few maps you can get pretty good at treasure hunting. You can use a Teleport License to teleport all over the place or, when you’re in town, use the Travel Agency and sell out around 1,000 gold per trip. Tip: Make sure you have enough Will to teleport; it usually takes about 70% Will. The Treasure Chests can contain Misc. items that will sell for 70-80k or Insignia Licenses that will sell for 250-350k. You can also get boxes from the chests that contain crystals or enhance stones that can also be sold or hoarded. Buy a few maps and you might find something really awesome.

Keep in mind that for guides you are granted TU Bucks that range from 200 - 500.

Premium membership costs 1k

So you might want to post more guides to accumulate enough point to purchase your premium account.

Once you accumulate enough points, you will have to PM an admin and he will then deduct the points and grant you premium membership.

I talked to my buddy who use to play this game and he said this:


Accourding to him its nothing special and is general knowledge. He pointed out that thats the purpose of a treasure map, to find the treasure. That is what is called "Treasure Hunting".
I still stand at what I said before, I will not nay or yay it because I do not play this game. Just thought i'd post what I could find.

well jeez i was not aware of that, I think this is a fantastic guide your friend is totaly wrong this is a very fun way of making money i find.

and i have 3 yays oh and the "I YAY MYSELF" uh cant you understand sarcasm, witch was what the rolley eyes was for jeez....

You said he USED to play there have been patches, and the price of the items have changed since he played, I do not think that someone who hasnt played for a while counts.

EDIT: Those are other people's guides I wrote this guide myself the credits go to myself for making it and I was not aware of other guides on this method.

About the third yay. In order for it to count, its got to be posted to my knowledge and I was unaware of a third yay. So from my perspective I could only see what was posted in this thread and went off that.

The information I got about the amount of TU Bucks being granted I got from the FAQ section. So chances are it could be out-dated. I merely didn't want you to get your hopes up and it turning out you would not have enough to get a premium, thats all.

Nonetheless, you took the time to write a guide and post it here. That alone sets you apart from alot of people. So I commend you and I wish it wasn't already posted.

And just to clear things up, I wasn't trying to be negative in any regard toward what you posted. Sorry if you took it that way.

I will make a post about the two conflicting posts regarding TU Bucks and premium. Seeing as this could of been avoided if we were on the same page.

well I am trying to be prety commmited to this site I have about 6 guides up now 2-3 in here and a help thing in here I have a combatarms p leveling guide an AION guide and an RS AFK leveling guide so I hope thats enought to get me premium
